This property was clean and comfortable. It was also rather quiet, which is a big thing in Ashland with all the railroad tracks. However, it appears the property is becoming shabby from lack of maintenance. The wallpaper in my room was peeling in many places, and the desk lamp did not work when I arrived. They fixed the desk lamp,... more

We were in Ashland for a teen baseball tournament. The service was great, even for a large group. The beds were comfortable. We had no trouble with wi-fi. Another plus was having a Walmart in walking distance. We would stay here again if we are in the vicinity. more

I have to give the Hampton Inn a top rating in every category. They went out of their way to serve us, The room was beautiful with a large bathroom. The beds were comfortable and when we needed safety pins for my daughters gown they ran them right up to the room. I highly recommend the Hampton Inn. more

This hotel is decent. I found the rooms to be loud and the VPN internet connection did not work for me and I spoke with other business travelers who said their VPN did not work, either. more

Standard Hampton - no problems whatsoever. Friendliest staff ever - greeted ever step of the way. Warm greetings in the morning with offer for assistance every encounter. Internet access was good - I will return on next business trip to Ashland. more

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. They gave me a handicap room which I did not request and refused to move me, despite their 100% satisfaction guarantee. There was absolutely no space to put anything in the bathroom. The shower did not even have a ledge to hold soap or shampoo. If you were... more

This is the worst Hampton I have ever come across. I would say that it is a horrible representation for the Hampton and Hilton brands in general. It was very bad weather outside and they refused or were too lazy to salt the driveway right in front of the hotel. There were also insects in the bathroom and on the... more

Older Hampton Inn with only 2 floors which is why you might not get your room preference. Rooms were clean but dated and small compared to other Hampton's I've stayed at recently. Wi-Fi Internet only (no LAN) so bring your own adapter. Breakfast was not very good by Hampton Standards (dry eggs, no meat choice). Staff were polite but not... more

We stayed here for three nights. The layout is typical Hampton Inn. This is farm country, and Housekeeping comes early, a plus if you want to get out and do things and come back in the afternoon to rest. The hotel is a short walk from a Walmart, very handy when you run out of things. The front desk staff... more

I travel a lot for work and am always looking for an affordable place to stay. This hotel was very clean and the personnel extremely friendly. Only negative was the fire alarm went off twice in the morning due to a mishap in the kitchen. Overall, I would recommend this place to stay if coming to the Ashland area. more
