The Quality Inn, Ashland is about 5 miles off I-64 at exit 191. I was a late arrival (12:30AM) after driving 500 miles. Ready for a good night's rest. First time I have ever been required to sign a form that I understood that the motel was situated near train tracks. (More about that below.) The motel is on a... More

This motel is a little tired, but the room was clean and we slept well. Is close to the Richmond International Speedway and a good place to get back to in a reasonable time from the race. The hallways and main areas could use a facelift. The breakfast was okay, but just that.

The room was musty but the worse thing was the train noise at night. It woke me up several times as the train crossing is about 100 yards away from the hotel and they blow the horn each time they cross. Personnel were nice and the location is ok.

This hotel was a deal... The room was very clean but the rooms needed updating. The wallpaper was patched, the carpet was stained, and the shower barely worked. The best was super comfy but it didn't matter because the trains kept me away. I only expected one or two throughout the night but was bad wrong. I will not be... More

This is a decent hotel if you're ever in the Ashland area. It's clean and reasonably priced and close to the Huntington airport as well as Ashland, Ky. As with some hotels that hit that 1o year old mark, the rooms start to show some wear and tear. - A side from going up a steep drive way, the one... More

I stayed here on business. It was the only place available unfortunately. There was trains coming by every 10 minutes all night long and honking there horns. Followed by the fact that there were beer bottles everywhere out on the balcany people smoking and the smell of marijuana periodically, spiderwebs everywhere, cleaning people were knocking on your door at 6:50... I stayed there this past weekend with a few co-workers. This is by far the worst hotel i've ever stayed in. We stay out of town about 150 nights out of the year. The majority of the time we stay at a Holiday Inn. There are several good reasons why this is a waste of money, with out even mentioning... More

Could not find another room in the city, or I would have moved out an hour after I got here. The owner is probably the cheapest person I've ever met. I complained about the lack of cold water. None in the shower or the sink. Her solution was to turn on both at the same time and wait for a... More

I thought about giving this motel a 2 out of 5 because the rooms themselves really weren't that bad. My room was clean and well-decorated. However, I just can't give any credit to a motel that makes you pay $75 for a night of no sleep due to the LOUD trains passing through all night long! My company booked this... More

Everyone's review of this place will be the same, and you're warned about it before you sign anything: the train is loud. I took at impromptu trip along the lovely Ohio River in southern Ohio. Around Portsmouth, Ohio, I was feeling the effects on a migraine headache starting, so I was trying to find a decent motel before I couldn't... More
