We stayed at this hotel for two nights. We got a no smoking room. It was very clean. Our room included a couch, reclining chair, free wireless internet, desk, and of course a tv. People were friendly. Hot breakfast included biscuits and gravy with sausage, and waffles. Only negative was the location. While it is close to a Super Wal-mart... more
We stayed over the Thanksgiving Holiday because that hotel was the closest to my Mother's house and for that only reason. However, after staying there for a few days, I would choose it if it were the farthest from the house. Rooms are dirty now, hair everywhere, staff is extremely non-friendly, like you are bothering them just if you need a wake-up call. Do not stay here, also prices have gone... more
I stayed at the Best Western River Cities in Russell, KY Dec. 18-20, 2003. It's a new hotel, clean rooms, free continental b-fast. If you're familiar with the Ashland/Ironton area, this is pretty much the best hotel in those parts. I paid $75 per night for a king non-smoking room. There are other older, less expensive hotels in the area,... more
