We came from to the hotel early in the morning, and the room was ready fortunatley. Pretty nice room, but it smells a little stale. I'm not too sure how long that one was vacant. It was turned to the back alley, so it was pretty quiet even tough on was located right besides the main road. The staff was... More

We choose this hotel because of our budget and the location. Close to everything in Papeete - markets, roullotte, waterfront, ferry. tourist info and restaurant. Basic, clean rooms. Nothing fancy. Very happy to arrive in the morning and have the room ready. The staff is helpful when it comes to arrange tours around the island.

Basic, clean and friendly. If you need somewhere for a couple of nights and don't need a pool or beach the Tiare is a good budget (for Tahiti) choice. Easy walking distance to markets, roullottes, tourist info and right on the waterfront. If they know you are coming in early they will try and have a room ready early. Wifi... More

Right downtown and across the street from the promenade and marina, three blocks from the market and a few blocks from shopping and the evening food trucks - it's an excellent location for an overnight or two if you don't need a resort and beaches. The hotel room is rather stark but the rooms, bathrooms and beds were very clean... More

This was a very lovely small hotel, the management was so helpful and accommodating, they went way out of the way for my girlfriend and I. We got to the hotel about 7: am, the regular check in time was 2:pm. But our room was already for us when we got there. Did not even charge us for the extra... More

Papeeti is expensive so this hotel is on the cheaper end of the spectrum at $120 per night. The location is good if you want downtown, close to shops, ferry terminal and airport. Not good for beaches.Big balcony with each room The wifi is not included in the tariffe but is available through manaspot or hotspot WDG.It is clean and breakfast is... This was an average hotel, but most pleasant. Our room was on the fourth floor and with the door closed was very quiet, even with a lot of traffic outside. The room was quite spacious, clean and the beds comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Pleasant view across the harbour. We both slept well and the air conditioning... More

We saw the photo of the building and thought this was something like a Holiday Inn. In reality, it is like a European pension. Our first room was really depressing but, we didnt do anything because we arrived late at night and were leaving early next day for Bora Bora and leaving behind our luggage. When we returned they upgraded... More

We stayed at this hotel because it was over the road from the port. However the rooms were expensive, hot and airless. If you left you room then the air con went off so instead of returning to a cool room you returned to a very hot one....The bed was ok but all the covers had rips in them. Overall very... More

If you're needing a night in Tahiti prior to or after your cruise, nothing beats the Hotel Tiare. All you have to do is cross the street from the Cruise terminal and voila, you're right there! The staff is very accommodating and so pleasant. It's basic but clean. Don't expect an over the water bungalow picture and you'll be fine.... More
