This was an average hotel, but most pleasant. Our room was on the fourth floor and with the door closed was very quiet, even with a lot of traffic outside. The room was quite spacious, clean and the beds comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Pleasant view across the harbour. We both slept well and the air conditioning... More

We saw the photo of the building and thought this was something like a Holiday Inn. In reality, it is like a European pension. Our first room was really depressing but, we didnt do anything because we arrived late at night and were leaving early next day for Bora Bora and leaving behind our luggage. When we returned they upgraded... More

We stayed at this hotel because it was over the road from the port. However the rooms were expensive, hot and airless. If you left you room then the air con went off so instead of returning to a cool room you returned to a very hot one....The bed was ok but all the covers had rips in them. Overall very... More

If you're needing a night in Tahiti prior to or after your cruise, nothing beats the Hotel Tiare. All you have to do is cross the street from the Cruise terminal and voila, you're right there! The staff is very accommodating and so pleasant. It's basic but clean. Don't expect an over the water bungalow picture and you'll be fine.... More

The Tiare Tahiti is on the nice side of downtown, just a short walk from the cruise ship docks. It is also only 3 blocks from the market and it is near many restaurants and shops. We found it to be clean and well maintained and the room was spacious. The staff spoke good English and was very helpful -... More

Hello everyone. I stayed 3 times in this hotel during the months of December 2014 and January 2015. ( In between I was on board the ARANUI -III. The hotel location is perfect, I walked to the ship, the Market and shops are all in walking distance. The supermarket is in walking distance. The room was always very clean I... More

Stayed 6 nights here during my visit to French Polynesia. It is handy for the town, just 5 minutes from the interesting market, ferries and food vans at night. This is one of the best and most reasonable ways to eat in the evening. Room spacious and clean. Pillows a bit hard and old. Bed okay. Mountain view was ideal... More

The location right across from the wharf was perfect for the one night before our cruise. We arrived late evening and slept, then the next morning we wheeled our bags across the street and checked in for our cruise. The room was clean and the simple old-style furniture was in good repair. AC works well, just needed to figure out... More

We picked this hotel as we wanted to avoid the big multinational hotels. We found it to be VERY clean with a good outlook, pleasant staff, comfortable beds but the downside for us was the traffic noise. It's not like Asia with car horns blaring but just constant background noise even with windows closed and air con on. We had... More

We stayed twice at the hotel.... we were taking the Paul Gauguin cruise and arrived a day early and spent that day and evening at the hotel. Amazingly, even though we arrived about 7:30 AM they had a room open and allowed us to check in at this very early hour. On our return from a few days stay in... More
