I arrived early on the morning of my check in day with a large number of people. My room wasn't ready, so I relaxed in a chair looking out towards the ocean. It was very relaxing and comfortable. My room became ready at 1:30pm. The room was very nice, the washroom was almost a 1/3 of the entire size of... More

This is a hotel that you only like to stay one night. The hotel is in desperate need of repair. The room has a feeling of an old motel in the middle of USA, broken parts and in a desperate need of repair. Service is not ok. They try to give you service as long as it’s when the personnel... More

This place is lovely and the views out of the rooms are just wonderful. I'd never seen a swimming pool with sand beaches on the edges. The restaurant for breakfast is open-air and lovely with a great selection of food. The lunch place is over the water and had innovative and mostly really tasty food. The beer selection includes some... More

Lovely locale but hotel needs some upgrading, painting and decks over the water are seriously in default. Romantic other than that and the sand bottom pool was lovely. Service was outstanding, but make sure you get to breakfast within the appropriate hours. Kayaking and snorkeling from the beach. Staff quite professional.

On the plus side, one of the best pools in the world...very large lagoon-shaped with a sandy bottom and 2 beaches PLUS it's fresh water. Amazing. Also, very beautiful grounds and setting with a huge floating, infinity koi pond. The resort sits on its own natural beach and bay with incredible snorkeling through coral reefs right from the shore. Rooms... More

My Windstar cruise included a 2 night pre-cruise and 1 day-room post cruise at this property. We stayed in a lagoon view room. The property is a well appointed Polynesian property but could use some attention in the landscaping given that the destination is a lush tropical paradise. The rooms are attractive, comfortable and spacious with strong A/C. Employees are... More

The location-beach and pool area-were magnificent. The facility itself was rarther "plaIn vanilla" for such an exotic location. Food service was "okay" not exceptional. After viewing the overwater huts, and speaking to friends staying there, we were happy to have not opted for them. With the others places available, other choices would have been better.

We stayed 7 nights and overall enjoyed our stay very much. The location is excellent - out of central Papaeete but close enough you can use the local bus or a taxi to get there. There are several restaurants a post office and supermarket within walking distance. The staff are good, especially the guy that looks after the pools and... More

We stayed here for 4 nights before leaving on a cruise out of Papeete. We liked the location being somewhat outside of the very busy capitol city. The back of the property from the hotel to the water gives one the sense you isolated on a tropical island. When you walk out to the street in front of the hotel... More

Rooms are beautifully and artistically decorated and well-appointed with comfortable and high-quality bedding, etc. The resort is perfectly set on the lagoon with loads of fish right under the water huts (on stilts), perfect for snorkeling or even viewing by naked eye while swimming or wading through the water. The pool is a sand bottomed one, the first I'd ever... More
