Loved this hotel. stayed there twice - before and after a cruise. It's located withing walking distance of the port, the local market. Competent staff, nice rooms, great location. As in most places in Tahiti: the internet service sucks.

We recently spent a night at the Hotel Tahiti Nui. We did arrive very late at night (an unplanned visit to town) so didn't get to spend a lot of time there. We were a walk in booking and the price was very reasonable being that it was in Papeete. Wifi was only available in the foyer but was fast... More

All international departures are mostly late at night. The international departure area at the airport only opens three hours before flight. We arrived in the morning from Bora, and wanted a place to rest and shower, have a nice dinner and head out to the airport in the evening. This hotel was totally on the mark for that. Clean, centrally... More

The rooms are modern, we had a mini suite which included a kitchen although no cooking equipment, which seems a bit odd. The hallways are quite dark, which is a bit strange. The breakfast is minimal and very expensive, better to walk downtown to the nice little cafés around the waterfront. Wifi is available in the foyer only, and is... More

Our family of four stayed here two nights (in transit between Moorea and airport). The hotel is centrally located. Rooms have been updated and were spacious. Air-conditioning worked well. It was a bit hard to find our room since the lights in the hallway were so dim. We used the pool, it was nice. If you plan to walk to... More

The hotel is a good choice for an overnight stay if you need to be close to the cruise ship pier or ferry terminal. The distance is relatively easy to walk. However, if you are rolling luggage, there will be several curbs and steps to naviagate. If you are tired from your travels, you may prefer a short taxi ride.... More

The good: Nice staff, clean, lots of towels provided for the bathroom, large room (two level junior suite) with comfortable beds, oven and large refrigerator in the kitchen, very helpful with getting us a cab, free wifi, nice fitness center, pool open 24 hours (but not lit), market next door at the gas station has a surprisingly good selection of... Would have rated this hotel much higher as most aspects were fantastic - location, service, room and facilities. Resturant was lovely for dinner but not great value for breakfast. Main disappointed was noise on the Friday night. There is a nightclub either in Hotel or very close to it. This noise meant no sleep was possible until the early hours... More

We stayed in this hotel Sept 2014. Because I accidentally booked our room for the wrong night, one of the staff went way out of his way to help find a room for us because the hotel was nearly sold out the night we got there. After he helped us, we asked if he could give us directions to a... More

not the prettiest hotel but by far the friendliest. The price was good, the location was only a short distance from the ship docks. Clean and very accommodating . The breakfast was pricey a typical continental and not included with the price of the room.
