We just had two nights to fill before a cruise so we booked the Hotel Tahiti Nui but I wish we hadn't. There's nothing exceptionally wrong with the hotel but there's nothing exceptionally right with it either. We arrived very late at night and after we checked in we got the lift to our floor. The rooms face an open... More

My wife and i recently stayed here for 3 nights whilst waiting for our cruise. The Hotel was Ok, ie beds etc all comfortable and clean, but the area surrounding the hotel is a little run down. There are very few stores which we could find open after 5pm, which made dinner plans a little bit of a challenge. There... More

Stayed one night. Arrived on a late flight and left early the following morning. While the service was good and the room clean and tidy the hotel itself is tired and shabby. The view of the pool showed the paint on the walls falling off in large flakes that weren't even picked up. The water feature in the lobby doesn't... More

Our stay here was very comfortable, the room was spacious and well serviced. The bathroom was roomy with a wet room style shower and toilet. I have to agree with other reviewers that the level of lighting on the various floors at night could be better, possibly they are trying to be cool and chic but haven't got it quite... More

My husband is staying in this hotel for 3 weeks for business trip, I joined him after 2 weeks. The only advantage I see is that the hotel is close to his office. The suite is spacious, but the bathroom is very badly designed, no shower, just small bathtub with no curtain. So even if you are carefull, the bathroom... More

We got here on that 6 a.m. flight and so had to wait a long time for a room. I can start with the Staff is cheerful, the Manager not so much. They smile at you and are concerned but can do nothing. My big item was I would have really like Wifi, however this was not available to me... More

We recently returned from a 14 day trip/cruise to French Polynesia. We started our trip at the Hotel Tahiti Nui in Papeete, Tahiti. It looked good in the pictures on tripadvisor and it was rated 4 stars in 2013. (the hotel proudly displayed that fact on a sign at their front desk) The nightly rate for this hotel was not... More

We just returned from French Polynesia and spend a few nights at Hotel Tahiti Nui. The room was way above expectation with two full rooms and a very nice bathroom. It was sparkling clean, the air conditioner worked efficiently and the service was very friendly. There is free WiFi, but in the lobby only. If our travels ever get us... More

We stayed in executive suite on sixth floor. There were 4 of us finishing a tour of bora bora and moorea. It is a 2 level suite, air conditioning doesn't work well in top floor bedrooms. Ice machine doesn't work on sixth floor and you need an engineering degree to figure the machine out. Balcony is cool if you smoke,... More
