Checked in to this Hotel, unknowing that there is a nightclub on the 1st & 2nd Floor. The music and bass was so loud in my room, it felt like I was in the bar. When I went to the front desk to be moved into another room that isn't on 2nd floor, they stated I needed to pay more... More

Spent an evening before leaving on a cruise to other Islands. The hotel was full of others going on cruises..I would think that the location keeps the hotel busy..The town is a big nothing, so I would guess the hotel survives on the cruise traveller..The rooms are clean and air conditioned (thank heaven). In fact it was cold..The restaurant was overpriced,... More

This is a good hotel in Papeete for those who do not need/want the expensive resorts. Exc for a single woman. Walk safely to waterfront, shops, restaurants, the market and the food trucks in a few minutes. She'll convenience store next door for all ur snacks and lite meals. Very dark hallways are unlit. Pricey breakfast and restaurant.

After our South Pacific cruise, which ended in Papeete (Tahiti), we stayed at the Hotel Tahiti Nui. The Wifi was below average, however we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was very nice, and centrally located within the island. We will always stay at this hotel if rooms are available.

Our standard room was very nice with a balcony, mini frig and very comfortable bed. The view from our balcony, however, we were over the busy street viewing horrible, run down buildings. The pool was small but pleasant. Some fixing up around the deck is needed. There is a hot tub, exercise equipment and massage tables. Unfortunately, at night the... More

I stayed here for work for 5 nights and had a standard room facing the road. The first two nights were quiet but then on Friday and Saturday night it was car racing right outside... started around 11pm and went on till about 3am. Very, very noisy and it was impossible to sleep. It felt like being on a race... More

We stayed here both before and after a six night stay on Moorea. We had just an overnight stay first and had a standard room. The bed was very comfortable but the room was on the street side so was a little noisy in the morning. The breakfast buffet in the morning was average for the price. After Moorea we... More

Stayed 2 nights and found the room very tired, the shower floor was disgraceful..black mould where the grout used to be.Locals think this is a good hotel but they have never paid to stay .With the late departures and international date line we booked for 3 nights and only really needed 2,but front office staff were completely unhelpful when the error... Summary of my experience: this hotel is not bad for local standards (it's ranked nr 2 in Tahiti for a reason), but on international level they score pretty badly. Pros: - Location is great! Downtown, on walking distance from the Roulottes and the rest of the city center - Beds are very soft and very comfortable. We had a great... More

We just had two nights to fill before a cruise so we booked the Hotel Tahiti Nui but I wish we hadn't. There's nothing exceptionally wrong with the hotel but there's nothing exceptionally right with it either. We arrived very late at night and after we checked in we got the lift to our floor. The rooms face an open... More
