As soon as we arrvived the new owners and the staff with a smile made you feel welcome. This is place to sit back and enjoy the biirds and the views from your accomadation and the availability of hikes to waterfalls right near by. The swimming pool and the restaurant are lovely. We will definitely go back.

We really enjoyed our stay - its a very beautiful peaceful place to be with lovely sunset views across the lily covered lake. Good facilities, lovely pool and restaurant area - and free wi-fi. The new owners really made us welcome, I would happily go back in the future.

In a few days staying at this resort - we saw all the endemics we could have possibly have seen in the surrounding areas - plus specific trips where we successfully saw Pink-billed Parrotfinches and Long-legged Warblers (Monasavu Dam). The surrounding forest support gems such as Golden Doves, Black-faced Shrikebills and Masked Shining Parrots - to name a few! The... More

Enjoyed lunch here. I had the "Taste of Fiji" which was a little bit of this and that. I really enjoyed it! I was with my 15 year old son and a friend, who lives in Fiji. We caught the bus from Nasori, which was easy. After lunch we caught the bus on to Suva. We were shown two of... More

We booked 2 nights at Colo I Suva because they advertise "free wi-fi". Apparently you only get half an hour free, then you pay $4.50 per hour or $30 per 24 hours. The place is very tired, rooms are dark and small, walls paper thin and towels and sheets smell stale. The management and staff were not at all helpful... More

Restaurant has lovely Fijian design. Good service. Food average. Accommodation tired plumbing doesnot aways work. Owners unwelcoming, we felt like intruders. Fijian staff their greatest asset. Airport 20minutes away

Under new management, this resort has seen some notable improvements with more planned. The new owners are extremely pleasant people and keen to lift the profile of this resort. Wifi is now available and the mosquitoes have been dealt to in a big way! The bird life at this resort is absolutely fabulous and a well-kept secret. We stayed 2... More

We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. In our short 8 weeks we have taken over ownership and management of the resort, we been able to make some significant changes and there is more to come. In the past week or so, we have had day visitors- birdwatchers comment that they saw more birds while sitting on... More

We spent a few nights here while circumnavigating Viti Levu in a rental car and had a decent stay here. While the price per night was decent, it wasn't anything worth bragging about, considering some of the other, nicer accommodations that we managed to stay at for less, while on the island. Nonetheless, the place is nicely located: it's outside... More

Rainforest is in a marvelous location just outside of Suva. Best of all it is right across the rode to the wonderful eco park, Colo-i-Suva, which is a MUST do if you are going to be in or around Suva. We spent the entire day hiking and swimming in the most delicious springs, waterfalls and ponds! Heavenly! Now, Rainforest itself,... More

We basically stayed at Raintree because we met a few people on our travels in Fiji who recommended it. All of the, said that they booked dorm rooms and as the hotel was empty they were all upgraded to rooms over looking the pond. However, on our arrival we were not upgraded, not that we were expecting it but it... More
