I only stayed at Five Princes for 2 nights during my short stay in Suva. The hotel is in Tamavua (not walking distance to the town centre) but not far away by car. My room was clean and tastefully decorated, and the reception staff were exceptionally friendly. It felt more like a homestay rather than a hotel as the property... More

We just stayed at this hotel for a night and found it very comfy but very dated, in its day it would have been the place to be even though it's out of the cbd it's still very well set up. We had a double room for us as two couples and we had everything we needed and the cost... More

The hotel provides an enjoyable atmosphere of genuine friendliness. The rooms are quite large and comfortable and the food was very good - if you are looking for a peaceful stay with relaxing ambiance and prompt and helpful service, this is the place.

Five Princess Hotel is a bit different from other hotels especially chain hotels. It’s like a small home away from home. The hotel is small but spacious with some ten rooms located in the main colonial style building of the hotel whilst a number of bungalow type rooms (ideal for families) are situated in the spacious green grounds surrounding the... 5 Princes beats any hotel in Suva for ambience. Lovely old colonial building and great buses- with kitchen facilities. Lovely pool and garden and Gase, who has been cooking at 5 Princes for >30 years, is a wonderful cook. Lovely to come hoe to after a long day at work. A home away form home.

My parents socialised with Harold Gatty and his wife who lived here when we were in Fiji in the late 40's. A lovely colonial home in Tamavua, Number 5 Princes Road. Tarei the manager made us most welcome and was very accommodation to us when we hosted a cocktail party for Suva friends. The staff are excellent and friendly, we... More

We were a party of two, each staying in a separate cottage. The cottages are elegant and well furnished; soft, comfortable queen size beds, polished wood floors, a large bathroom area and the kitchen is fully equipped for making meals. Being close to Samabula town, there are small takeaway shops but no immediate restaurant or bistros in the vicinity. Buses... More

Had the opportunity of having a business group lunch with at least 20 +. Good food by any standard and value for money. Friendly host and atmosphere is great. Even though it is next to a main road, this colonial property provides serenity for the guest. Enjoyed the time.

We got upgraded to the 2-bedroom villa as our T.V. wasn't working. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Internet as with most hotels/resorts in Fiji, was on a pay basis and not free. The pool was beautiful but needed a bit upkeep. Beautiful colonial style villa to stay in Suva. It's convenient enough location, as it's away from the... More
