Our big-fat-greek-indian-fijian wedding was from the onset a complicated enterprise. People were flying in from 3 continents, and let's face it, both myself and my wife are on the demanding side of life. We knew from early on what we wanted from our wedding day and did an extended research (we both live in Fiji) before deciding that Mango Bay... More

Great exotics hostel for backpackers. Clean, cool and spacious. One of the nice hostels I stayed at. I was only here for a night as I was travelling the island. Was a great stopover. Food was nice. 5* Entertainment!! We had dancers after dinner. We got to participate in their traditional dances. The Fijian men are very good looking I... More

We loved this resort! We had a safari cabin which we thought was cute and romantic with dim lighting and a canopy over the bed. The bathroom was basic but large and we were excited to finally have warm water. I liked that it was nestled in the trees and the screens inside let in the air from the outdoors.... More

I am surprised to see that some travel magazines consider this resort only 2 and a half stars. Despite being a pain to get to and with an incredibly long driveway you wouldn't really want to walk, Mango Bay is amazing. We stayed here for 2 nights in a beachfront bure. The rooms and grounds were clean and beautiful and... More

My husband and I stayed at Mango Bay for Four nights from the 6 th of August. We were granted our request for a private and quite bure away from the bar area.... Our Bure was so cute and we had our own patch of white sandy beach directly out front. The Bures have loads of character and We loved... More

I walked over here from beach house to see what it was like. The place was nice enough and the staff were relatively friendly. However while staying there i met the owner(?), and another lodger who was clearly a friend of his. Said friend was a "meathead" who was annoying the girls at our table when i stood up to... More

Bula Klop-dawg, This is an obvious attempt to smear our reputation. In no way has this ever happened or would the management let something like this go lightly. The management are friends with the Beachouse management and have confirmed that they have never heard of such a situation from their guests coming back from Mango Bay. It is an absurd... More

Mango Bay is for the young and young at heart and for those that love to experience the true culture of a destination. My partner and I took our 18 year old daughter & friend and we both stayed in private beachfront bures. The bure's were traditional, basic, clean and a real experience with an outdoor shower, mosquito netting etc.... More

Wish I had read the review by Aly5860 before I stayed here. Totally agree with the comments made by Aly5860! And their photos certainly tell the truth! Some places in Fiji are very basic and nothing flash but this place is woeful. Woeful accommodation, woeful food, woeful security, woeful service, and staff who looked like they didn't want to be...
