Even though my partner and I stayed at the Outrigger during (Australian) school holidays, the hotel was not overcrowded and remained very tranquil throughout our entire week-long stay. Great resort. Refurbished rooms are excellent with earthy and dark tones and have a modern feel. Buffet breakfast is a good spread. Swimming pool, however, can be a bit crowded during peak season. Maybe we are spoiled by all of the beautiful white sand beaches in the Caribbean and Mexico but this place has the ugliest beach we have ever seen.
