Just recently spent over a week on this beautiful Fiji Island. Only ever intending on staying for 3 to 4 nights, my friend and I finally said our goodbyes to the wonderful staff 8 nights later. (and then it was only because we had to) We had visited the island before but only for the day/night combo cruise and a... More

Myself and my husband have just returned from a trip from here. I felt i needed to say a big thank you to all the guys on the island for making my holiday stress free and very relaxing. After travelling in around Australia it was really nice to go to a deserted island with very little to do. The staff... More

PROS 1 Beautiful island. Small enough to go all the way round in 15min. 2 Wonderful welcome, imitation of cannibals attacking the boat on arrival. I think I was more blown away by the hot bodies of the guys welcoming us, I was in the zone and I don't remember much else until someone tapped me on the shoulder to... More

After delays my husband and I arrived from NZ at about 10pm. They wouldn't normally pick up at this time (they do it in the morning), but because the delay was out of our control and we were only due to stay on the island 2 nights we were collected from the airport and taken by boat along the river... I stayed in one of the Island Lodges that had recently been refurbished. The only downside is being one of the most expensive rooms, you can hear the generator running until midnight and then it turns on at 7am so you don't get to hear the crashing of the waves on the beach. There are times throughout the day when... More

We visit the island after several hotel workers informed us it was a wonderful trip!! We arrived on the island after a very long journey. We decided to do the snolkerling activity, as we were boated out into the middle of the sea there was no mention of safety at all. We were told to jump of the boat you... More

I am pleased this guest enjoyed our GREAT SHOW & FOOD however i find her comments about safety & staff very confusing as we were on duty that day and nothing was reported to us and if it was we would have taken them very seriously as it has never happened in the 10 years we have owned the property... Now this is the description of the resort on its website: Robinson Crusoe Island is a secluded Fiji Beach Resort surrounded by a beautiful lagoon, coral reefs, a long white sandy beach, traditional thatched bures, island music, fresh tropical fruits, fresh locally caught fish and friendly pacific islanders. This and much more awaits you on the shores of Robinson Crusoe... More

We did the one day tour (me, wife and 9 y/o stepdaughter). Getting there took quite a while - bus and then a basic river boat. 8.45 a.m. pickup and finally dropped at the island at 10.30. Still, the scenery from the boat is lovely and it's a relaxing putter away from the mainland. Once there, the staff were friendly,... More

After visiting the island in July we couldn't get enough, so we visited the island again in September. We were surprised at the changes from last time and the difference was only six weeks! The family rooms had been completely made over with a new balcony, linen, fresh towels and toiletries. There were new dances and costumes. As before we... More

Our family went to Robinson Crusoe Island for the Fiji culture show and we were dissappointed with the value for money we recieved. The food compared to other shows and culture events we have attended was poor and a very limited choice. Charging for soft drinks and water was also surprising, the hostess was unprofessional and failed to engage the... More
