My partner and I stayed here for 2 weeks just before christmas, We originally booked to stay in the 34 bed dorm, however when we arrived they upgraded us to a 4 share dorm, which was really nice. It was a fair sized room, with 2 bunk beds and a ensuite shower and air con facilties. The hostel itself feels... More

I've stayed at Smugglers Cove twice. Both times I was with friends and really enjoyed staying here. The rooms are akin to motel standards but are very clean. Staff are friendly and very helpful. There is always music or cultural performances in the evening. Restaurant is ok, would recommend to go to Denarau Marina for better restaurants. Would definitely recommend... More

Smuggler's is located at Wailoaloa Beach in Nadi, a residential-style neighborhood with several other hotels. One of the benefits is that you can walk around and food/shows/activities from any of the hotels. POSITIVES: The rooms at Smuggler's aren't a bad deal- we got a nice room with aircon and balcony, plus free breakfast for about $75 US. Breakfast is a... More

Dull, depressing, they close everything in the evening, not even possible to enter the beach, no music, bar closed 10, we got a very little room, not possible to open window, no view at all but a dull back yard. Although we booked a swit with twin beds, ocean front and view. And we also paid a lot. Terrible place.... More

Stayed here with some friends before heading off to the islands the next morning. We did not have any ferry reservations and the staff took care of everything. The restaurant is right on the beach and we enjoyed a kava ceremony from some locals. The rooms were spacious and the ferry bus to the islands picks guests up every morning... More

We had a fantastic room in the new block of Smugglers Cove and it was perfect; the air con is great for people wanting to acclimatise slowly to the Fiji humidity. There is a small pool good for a dip although often quite crowded. The staff are very friendly and there is lots to do during the day. They try... More

We stayed here two different times. The most recent time the staff was very rude to us. The guy working the front desk, who was just voted best employee treated us like crap. The food was not good, and when we found several hair in our food, they expected us to eat around it. The room is clean but that's... More

I thank you for your review and we take pride in our returnee guests such as yourself. I do apologize on behalf of our former ‘Staff of the Month’ for his out of character rudeness and can assure you that the matter will not be taken lightly. As for the hair in your food, it is difficult to believe that... More

We recently spent 2 nites in Smuggler's Cove, Nadi and while the staff proved to be very friendly and helpful and the room had a nice comfy bed with air-conditoning, drinking-water was fine, continental breakfast was filling, we were however let-down by: 1) no view - Rm 411 2) paper thin walls where we could hear the neighbours having a... ive stayed at smugglers twice, once in the dorm rooms and a second time in the private rooms. both experiences have been great! the hotel is quiet when youre in your room, but there is always something going on outside! most of the other hostels and hotels send their quests to smugglers for something to do. there is nightly entertainment... I would recommend this place as it is very clean and the staff are helpful but if you are staying in the dorm be prepared to be woken up by the staff turning the light on and starting to clean at 8.30am. If you want to go to the shops to get a snack you will have to get a... More
