Stayed there a few weeks in June 2014. The staff is very friendly. You can drink kava and play guitar with them each night. This hostel also provides boat trip to the surfing breaks : Cloudbreak, Namotu and many others !

Really nice hostel, staff very "bula" friendly, well located, good food and drink prices, about 15 fiji dollars for a meal and 5 for a beer! Got a private room, double bed, air con, really nice! Spent time with the locals having Kava and lots of laugh!! If you are traveling alone this is the right place to stay!! I... More

We stayed here for one night before going to the islands. It's a fun place to stay, had a kava session with singing and fire dancing - which was awesome. The rooms aren't the best but it's excellent value for money

Booked for 2 nights and ended up staying for 7 days and counting! Rooms clean, simple. Food choice and quality great, fun vibe, relaxed, right on the beach and has a pool and bar! Great cocktails and fresh fruit smoothies, nightly kava and singing sessions. Good info on free and paid activities, staff can hook you up with island hopping,... More

Stayed here on and off during a 3 week trip to Fiji. The staff are great - they are fun and friendly and will always talk to you. The bar is relatively cheap - F$ 5.50 for a beer. Food is quite cheap but the service is awful - they are so laid back that at times you can wait... More

Had a good stay here and enjoyed the kava and music at night. Listened to the staff recommendation and went up north to Tuvununu on Taveuni Island which was a fun place, and went to the Bouma Falls which is awesome and then onto Maqai Eco Resort on nearby Qamea Island which was just magic and a real gem to... Amazing hostel! I loved it - fun and friendly atmosphere, great location on the beach and just a short bus ride to town. Rooms are clean and spacious. Bar and restaraunt are great and good value. Plenty of free organised daily activities. Staff work hard to make you feel welcome and are enjoying yourself - especially Simon who's always around... More

I staid here three times on my stay in Fiji and the staff is so welcoming learn all the guests names and make them feel at home. Each time I returned they remembered me. This place is super inexpensive, the food is good and not to high priced. The kava circle at night is a lot of fun, and one... More
