We actually stopped next door at Aquarius (who charge for WiFi) so popped next door to use the free WiFi with the purchase of a pint. Draft Fiji Gold was cheap cold and lovely, WiFi was decent and we also had a game of pool and attempted to play table tennis.

Nice friendly staff. Clean private room, nice and supportive mattress bed, but our bathroom door could not close. They can arrange your day trip pretty quick. Price is reasonable. Free airport pick up and drop off is the best!! Free Wi -fi all day. I would recommend this place for people who don't care for luxury but want something simple... More

Stayed here twice during our trip to Fiji and both times we were glad we chose Bamboo. Staff are super super friendly, helpful and approachable. Private rooms are clean and a good size. Strong WiFi connection and WiFi was free. Food was nice. Great range of activities on offer which they will arrange for you even at very short notice.... More

The owners are young, welcoming, layback but very helpful. The place is safe and offers plenty of opportunities for making new friends. Excelent local food cooked feshly, eco-friendly envioroment, local tatoo artist available for original tatoos on request, don't miss out on the cava nights. Always some activity going on from volley to art studio. They also organize weekly vitit... More

We stayed 2 nights in bamboo hostel. Friendly staff and good food but we found out bed bugs ! Beds are wood fabric and we have been bitten, you cannot do anything for that except change beds. That's a shame because everything else was good but bed bugs is a really big issue !

The Hostel staff are amazing and super friendly. The facilities in the rooms are quite basic but are nice enough. The hostel is also the only place to offer free WiFi anywhere, which is a must for any traveller.

Bamboo Hostel was so good! The staff were extremely nice, humorous and friendly. Every night there was the Kava ceremony, live music, bon fire, or fire show, etc. In the afternoon, there were other activities. There is a hostel bar and a restaurant by the beach. I just cannot believe that is was only around $7.5 per night (for a... More

Good options for backpackers, be it private or dorm (we tried both). Private was a decent size with enquire, all facilities good, had a fridge so ideal for cooling cheapy beers from the supermarket. Dorm was fine too and really good value. The food was really nice and the whole place had a buzzing backpacker vibe. Situated right on the... More

Been there in August 2014 for in total 3 nights. A perfect "jumppoint" to explore the islands around (Mamanucas / Yasawas... and even if you start a trip to Taveuni a.s.o.). Good for all ages! Older people will find a calm place somewhere around, younger generation who might like to party, will find some follower to do so. The beach... More

We stayed here on two occasions for one night each time in the 8-bed dorm. The free airport pick up was good, as is the food in the restaurant and the staff are really friendly. The rooms are very basic and the beds are old, the first time we stayed it was okay for just one night which is why... More
