The hostel is on a road with about 4 other hostels and this one seemed the be the best value. There is nothing around the road where the hostel is so you have to get the bus into the town. The rooms are clean and spacious, nothing special but perfectly suitable for a couple of nights. The wifi did reach... More

To begin with our airport transfer was an hour late. The rooms were very big yet pain. The food however is brilliant and very cheep although can be slow at times. The pool is very small and cold and beach isn't that nice however sitting watching the sun set is nice. The hostel is right on he beach and only... More

I would recommend this place to anyone, great value for money, great service and most atmosphere of the hostels in Nadi and Fiji for that matter. I came here on and off for a month and each time was like coming home, the staff are so welcoming and keep entertaining going all day (and night). The atmosphere just makes this... More

I recommend this hostel 100%. Rooms are cleaned everyday and they are really nice. Staff is wonderful, friendly and they never forget your name and what you like doing. If you need any help with planning your trip around Fiji ask for help in bamboo and they will sort everything up for you with really good deals! I had an... More

This hostel is good choice if you're travelling on a lower budget and you're not expecting luxury. We stayed in a private room, which was very big but rather ugly. It's right at the beach, unfortunately the sea is not the nicest there. Therefor the hostel has a pretty pool! I can recommend the place as a first base to... More

This is a hostel with something special. That something special is the people who work there and who show that special Fijian closeness and welcome that is truly heartwarming. They are very helpful, even going with guests to Nadi to guide them and protect them from some of the more determined commercial elements in Nadi. Don't worry about that though,... More

Started off bad as my name was not on airport pickup list, yet I confirmed three days in advance. Booked a week's holiday here with a twin room for myself, but got overbooked the first two days, so had to change rooms which is quite annoying. I did get an upgrade for those two nights with my own bathroom, however... More

The best thing about this hostel is the staff who are super friendly, they remember everybody's names, they make you participate in a number of activities if you want to (kava nights almost every night, ring carving in coconuts, cooking, music everyday all day etc.). Their positive attitude is commendable, and they make you feel right at home. At the... More

My friend and I spent quite a lot of time at this hostel, as we were spending a month in total in Fiji, and we used Bamboo as a place to stay before and after our trips to the islands. After a year travelling around, this has definitely been my favourite hostel to date. The staff were extremely welcoming and... More

Bamboo is a very special place. The staff are fantastic and make you feel part of their family - they are all hilarious and up for a good time. At first I was unsure as the location isn't great and there is a building site next door ... but..as soon as evening came and the kava circle started the atmosphere... More
