Excellent. Nearby Hostels do not come close too the feel and peace of this Hostel. Owners are awesome. Again the best in Wailoaloa. No gossip if you are local. Safe from overzealous security guards at other nearby Hostels.

First time was amazing, great people, great food and wonderful service. However the second time we had to stay with 'appleman' who was very annoying and ended up being kicked out. I would go here again despite this, the food here is the best on Wailoaloa.

We stayed here for 10 days and had an amazing time. The staff got to know us and made us a traditional Fijian dinner which was cooked in a hole in the garden. We drank kava and sang songs with the staff till all hours at night. Would stay here again and the food, well I miss that food! Just... More

I travelled alone and was initially slightly nervous about how quiet this hostel was; however it's on the same strip as all of the big traveller hostels and is much more relaxing and according to people I met - more clean. The restaurant served great food and the staff were really friendly.

It was very positive surprise to see how nice, clean and friendly this place was. I was sharing 4 bed room with the most interesting people, men and women from Europe and USA. The breakfast was good ,5 FJ$, and since the guests spend their days on the beach, 200 m. or doing whatever, the kitchen, which has really good... More

We had been here twice about two years ago. We had great memories and remember it as a proper backpackers, well maintained, with great staff and being actually a gem compared to the dodgy backpackers that you can find in the area. This time, we found again great staff, very smiley, and still the best of the backpackers of the... More

Bluewater Lodge's double rooms were out of our budget and we didn't want to stay in the dorm, so we didn't get to stay here. But we took a look at the double room and it was spacious, clean and pleasant. Wish we could have afforded it! However, we visited the restaurant several times and the food was consistently excellent.... More

Stayed in a private room with en suite for 1 night. The food was good (and very cheap) and the building, pool and its surrounds were quite nice but the room we were in had seen better days with broken aircon, broken windows and it not being anywhere near as clean as it could have been. For $100fjd a night... More
