We stayed four nights at the Cooks Oasis (a short 3kms from Raro airport). From the moment we arrived & were greeted by both Jeff & Joan (The Hosts) we knew we were in for a relaxing stay. Our room had a king sized bed, kitchenette and large bathroom with a shower. We also had a small private deck outside.... more

I can only confirm this is a great place and value for money. Very clean and spacious quiet and most important private rooms. Having read previous reviews on Tripadvisor.com we booked this place and can confirm what others have written. Having been in the the accommodation industry we know how hard it is to please...... we were pleased with our... more

We had a wonderful 3 nights here and it has to be one of the best value for money places to stay in Rarotonga. Jeff was our host (his wife was in New Zealand when we stayed) and he went out of his way to do anything he could to make our stay enjoyable!! Our unit was spotlessly clean, had... more

We stayed in a lovely bungalow surrounded by tropical plants and trees, right near the ocean. We arrived at 11.30pm and the owner (Jeff) had stayed up to greet us and provide us with fruit and cereals for the morning. In the morning he gave us a tour of the larger property and included in our room rate (£45) we... more

A lovely option for people wanting to self cater and be independant. The owners were wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. The service at the Cooks Oasis was far better than more expensive Resort & Spa accommodation we have experienced in the Cook Islands. The room was clean and tidy, simple but had all needs met, aircon, fly screens,... more

We spent a week at Cooks Oasis and really enjoyed it, great service from Jeff and Joan and lots of good advice. Airy comfortable rooms with cooking facilities, free bicycles, kayaks, snorkeling equipment, beach chairs and lots of books to read/swop during your stay. We decided against hiring any form of transport and enjoyed using the local bus service and... more

The Oasis is a very quiet pleasant place to stay with Kayaks and Snorkling gear available. Jeff and Joan very helpful and kind. Preferred this location to the second place I stayed at. Beach short walk from room. If you needed anything all you had to do was ask and they would help as best they could. Genuine couple that... more

Greeted on arriving from Airport (not far away) in the early hours of the morning with fruit bowl and milk etc. in fridge. Facilities like a NZ Motel but one large room and with all the holiday amenities handy. Children (4 & 8) were occupied in the small swimming pool if not kayaking, at the beach (100m) with snorkeling gear... more

I'm in a group of girls that go away each year for an island holiday to relax and de-stress. There certainly wasn't a single bit of stress involved in our stay at The Cooks Oasis Villas! We were greeted by Jeff when we arrived and we really enjoyed the friendly style of Jeff and Joan - they were available to... more

Jeff & Joan Cook are the owners and 2 of the nicest people you would ever hope to meet. The beautiful bungalows are new and spotless and maintained to the highest standards. The location is great and nothing is to much trouble for Jeff & Joan. We could not recommend this place highly enough. For singles, couples, honeymooners and families... more
