Just came back from 7 night stay at Club Raro. Admitted we arrived in the middle of the night and it didn't look fancy at all (we had garden rooms) however after a long days' travel the beds were super comfortable, it had a terrific shower and the air conditioning was a godsend for good sleeping. The breakfast was very... more

Had a wonderful time staying at clubraro for our daughters wedding (Mel and Josh) it was absolutely fabulous, we could not have asked for anything more, it was just the perfect day The staff did an amazing job, they spent alot of time putting frangipanis on an arch, decorating the hall we were all absolutly speechless the result was stunning. I stayed at this resort with a group of 4 girlfriends, who organised the trip. If I was staying with my husband we would have checked out and stayed elsewhere. This property is certainly not 'clean and comfortable', I have been to better backpackers! We arrived in the middle of the night and there was hardly any lighting around the... more

This trip was a dream come true for my hubby and I, as we are first time travellers. We are from New Zealand. We found the place very clean, the staff very friendly, I would recommend this Resort to my friends and Family. We are actually planning on going back there for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2010 taking our... more

Spent a week here in Feb 08. Arrived 01:30 via airport cab service. Staff friendly & effective. Had a well-equipped studio room - cooker, fridge, TV, phone, A/c. Beach mainly broken coral but no problem if you have reef shoes. Lots of other sandy beaches to choose from. Excellent breakfast - fresh tropical fruit, choice of cereals, breads etc. Good... more

Club Raro is everything you see in it's brochure (and website). It is a very laid back, relaxing place. As with most places in Rarotonga, Club Raro staff are friendly and efficient. But do note that because of this laid back attitude, service isn't always fast and you have to be prepared to wait for your meals and even to... more

Loved it. So much so we are going to book for next year ,at the same time, with friends we meet at Club Raro. Each day we were greeted with a smile from staff and new friends. Staff always helpful. Close to town and our favorite bar Chillies. Can't wait to go back. If you want big or flashy not... more

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in also. It is advertised as the "Club Raro Resort" and it is so far from being any kind of resort that is just isn't funny. Even the locals seemed to be embarrassed by this hotel. We arrived about 3.30am and when we got to the hotel there was a rude... more

Club Raro would have to be quite possibly the worst place I have ever stayed. We arrived there at 10 pm at night, after leaving our son with his grand parents, who were staying at Crown Beach, so we could just have somewhere clean to stay before our flight to Aitutaki. When we arrived the staff were not real helpful,... more
