Looking for a basic resort styled accommodation Club Raro is it! Not pretentious in any way and value for money. Staff are great and although no real beach the outlook over the reef is fantastic and relaxing. Good facilities with a swimming pool, tennis court, pool table and ping pong table to keeps kids occupied. I had trouble keeping up with... more

Stayed here 6 nights and were very impressed with the Staff friendliness and willingness to help out. Its located not too far out of town which is handy and unfortunately the beach next to it is stony and not suitable for snorkeling. Fortunately Club Raro had some push-bikes which we could use on Sunday as the whole of Rarotonga closed... more

Arrived very early in the Morning (1 am) Looked good at first, and greeted nicely, but then got to our room. Out dated, smelly and just icky! They say you get what you pay for, but I expected something better than this! I wouldn't of paid more then $50 a night for a dump like this. It just didn't look... more

Our first trip to the Cook Islands and we will definitely be back. Club Raro was a great place to stay. We had a lagoon front room which was spotless if a little basic. The staff were superb, very friendly and always helpful. The resort is ideally placed only 2km from town. Happy hour drinks are NOT two for one... more

We have just returned from Club Raro and had a fabulous time. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. If there is something you need that is not in the room the staff are more than happy to help with a smile. The set up is great, we had breakfast every morning in the dining room and there... more

We got upgraded on the first night so stayed in front room with sea views it was lovely. The pool was freezing though but didn't mind too much as we rode scooters to Muri beach which is absolutely beautiful, The beach outside Club Raro is nice for snorkling but is nice as nice as Muri side. We were very impressed... more

The hotel is nice, the rooms are clean and the location is not bad - you can even walk into the city center. What I would recommend to the hotel management: - please offer fresh fruits for the breakfast; it was out of all reason why there have been only fruits out of a can when you could see all... more

We were supposed to stay at the Edgewater (which has the same owners), but it was completely booked, so we were sent to Club Raro and it was beautiful and clean at first sight. The rooms are a little small, but were big enough for me and my father with two beds. One king and a twin. There was a... more

Whilst smaller than I thought it would be Club Raro was the perfect getaway. I loved the character of the resort, the staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful but not 'in your face' and gave plenty of advice on what to see and do while on the island. Although the lagoon at the resort is very rocky it's great for... more
