The woman who owns this place is from New Zealand. She tends to discriminate guest based on nationality. She tried to give me the worst room and insisted that I had stayed in the worst dirty room located inside an old bus. She treats guests like trash! I have stayed at tiare village twice now and found it to be one of the best places to stay in all the south pacific. Great friendly staff, very clean, and always a great atmosphere between guests. My wife and I stayed here for the first half of our trip in Rarotonga, the second half was spent near to Muri Beach. We stayed in a self-contained unit located next to the pools.
