I booked for a week to take advantage of the discount price of $40 per night. I was a bit apprehensive but it suited me well. Spacious, with my own kitchen, dining and bedroom. Yes it was very tired, probably hasnt been renovated since the 70's but it had everything I wanted and I thought it was very good value. I... More

We stayed in Rarotonga for two weeks, one week here at KiiKii and the other on the south side. We enjoyed our stay on the island, very beautiful place and friendly locals. We stayed here at Kiikii Motel in 2008 and it has very noticeably deteriorated due to little to no maintenance and up-keep. When we arrived we saw the... More

So if you are on a budget and don't mind no A/C, Kii Kii is for you! Ocean front means you sleep to sounds of the surf (but no beach - good ones not far away). Awaken to roosters...each room has mini-kitchen facilities. There is a small pool and lots of lounge chairs. Owners and staff are very nice and... More

My friends and I stayed at the Kiikii for a week. We loved it! No its not 4 or 5 star but if your wanting to save some cash on shopping then go for it. Made some friends while there and the owners gave us a real great discount for our next visit. Can't wait!

You could not ask for nicer owners Harry and Pauline Napa. When I thought I needed a charger for my razor, Harry took me all over Avarua trying to find one. The staff did a excellent job of daily cleaning, making the beds, and bringing clean towels each day. This was my third stay at the Kiikii Motel while with... More

I stayed at the Kiikii Motel for three weeks with Global Volunteers and had an unforgettable experience. The motel could use an update because it has a 1970s feel. There are some maintenance issues but the staff is incredible and they do everything they can to make the rooms liveable. There are a few insects and geckos, but on a... More

4* overall on value! We booked one night (you have to have somewhere booked to get into the country!) and ended up staying 10 nights. We paid 60% of what we would pay elsewhere for less space, no pool but a coat of paint. Personally I would rather spend the money on good food and trips and our kids couldn't... More

We had booked 5 nights but not suitable. Altho cheap & we were "upgraded" as the only ones there, didn't need dirty stained linen & units lacking maintenance. "Crashed" for 1 night only - we got impression from other locals that owners not interested in upkeep. They were fixing plumbing problems in some units. Lovely location & has a lot... More

I stayed at the Kiikii for three weeks in February of 2013. I was with Global Volunteers. The Kiikii feels like it was the height of luxury in the late 1970s, but hasn't been changed all that much since. However, it has the cheapest prices of any place on Raro. I was in Room 21 and it was heaven -... More

I spent 3 weeks at KiiKii, it was one of few places I could rent for under a month which had cooking facilities and being off peak season I paid $40 a night for 2 , to me the staff and management shared one fault that I could see and that was being human, I actually enjoyed Paulines straight up...
