Plaza Fuerte is a small hotel next to the old town. The rooms are modernized, but have some strange features, as the bed on the higher level of the room. But altogether a nice experience. More

Excellent location with many nearby restaurants and bars (safe to walk to at night). Beautiful interior and exterior but the carpets in the room were stained in multiple places and did not seemed to be vaccuumed, ever. It is very centrally located in a nice building, however some of the furniture, railings, carpets are worn out and are in stark contrast with the historic building.It is not cheap either. However the staff are very helpful and friendly, ready to help More

it all depends: Do not go to the hotel, if: - you can not walk stairs, - need a spa or fitness center, or - do not like anything built before 2005, and - mind walking down some narrow stairs if you want to open or close the window in the middle of the night or change the air-condition/heater settings.... Great bedrooms! with a lot of space. Balcony. Comfy bed. Great bathroom. Nice lcd TV. Internet connection a little slower but it was OK.
