We learned about this hotel from a Lonely Planet travel guide. I used their website to book the room. They had very quick responses, in Spanish as I recall. I stumbled on this hotel a year ago, when passing through Montevideo. I was looking for a hostel a few blocks away and asked someone for directions, and they recommended this. The hotel is a block from the Fine Arts Museum and in a decent area. They are very helpful at the front desk, the breakfast is minimal, but sufficient (and the coffee is good).
