Make a reservation, come over, look at the room, keep quiet and suffer, say something and they'll jump hoops to make sure you're satisfied. Do not settle for whatever you get, make sure you get what you feel is fair and honest. This hotel will stick you in the ugliest nasty rotten smelling room if they can get away with... More

This hotel is neither at a noble area of the city, nor together with any stunning touristic atraction. It has got no extra luxury and it has not any additional spice either. Nevertheless, it is usually a perfect bennefit-cost relationship. I have stayed there for three times, got some bargains, by negotioating directly with the front desk (last time was... More

Only the price. One of the cheapest place but, everthing is very old and worn. Breakfast is very basic. The front desk is unattentive. Location is terrible. After dark you can not find anybody. Nearest to the main bus station. Never come again.

The hotel has the basic to stay one or two nights. Is very close to the bus station so is very good if you are planning to go to other cities in uruguay by bus. the breakfast was average, it could improve the quality. the room are fine though they can modernize. the bathrooms was very decent. the wi fi... The hotel is good, because of its location, welcoming staff and good price. The room was okay and we had a heating system that helped us a lot on the wintry nights. It's a good option, but you shouldn't expect anything in special for what you're paying, I am assessing it on the basis of value for money. Tres Cruces... More

i stayed there last week for 3 nights. i think they neither renovated nor painted anything in 15 years and it was kind of shabby .no comparison to a 3 star in europe. but 44 us on despegar com was acceptable in a country where you pay 4 bucks for a bottle of coke in a supermarket. dont expect anything... This is a kind of place, you are getting more than what you pay.You are getting an accomodation plus an ugly and rude reception and management (this is the BONUS). The service was really terrible, at the front desk they were rude and not understanding English well.Actually not cheap, and not centrally located,it can be count in a budget category (but,do... I have stayed at the Hotel Tres Cruces on severla trips and several occasions. So why all the varying reviews on TA about this place? It all depends on what you are looking for and expecting. First off, the place is "cheap", and that usually does NOT mean luxury. It equates mor eto "dorm room" in the US. And that... More

We had already stayed at this hotel before, when we visit Uruguay on the winter of 2010. This time we stayed three nights and were lucky to stay in a room (604) better than the last. Located on a high floor and with a pretty good view of the city and the Rio de la Plata. The bathroom was of... More
