My most recent stay was as good as the last. This hotel has great service and serves well for business travel. My recent stay was during the biggest cyclone in 7 years. I felt extremely safe during the storm and was very impressed with the customer care. Location is also walking distance to shops and restaurants.

I stayed at the Regency Suites for business and this hotel fit our needs perfrectly. Great location to restaurants in a safe area. Very quite room and included a good breakfast with wonderful coffee. I will be traveling Uruguay again and plan on staying here.

Regency Hotel is a great option if you want a quality service, comfort and well taste decoration, but don't prioritize a central location. At first you may be disappointed that the hotel is not in the downtown part of the city. But it turns out that is a great advantage. The location is wonderful, an upscale neighborhood near the ocean with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Public bus transportation to the Old City and the sights, or taxi which is not expensive.... More

The staff was very professional. they make you feel like you are their only guest.

Great breakfast, very nice, & helpful staff, clean & spacious rooms. Walk to great restaurants, supermarket, or quiet beach within 5-10 mins. Very safe & quiet upscale neighborhood. o.k. Internet (cut out at times, & not very fast). Soft pillowy beds..20-30min. bus ride to downtown..Thought it was great value at around $100 a night!!

The Regency Suites Hotel provided gracious, quiet accommodations in Montevideo. The staff was excellent, the rooms clean and well appointed. It was in a neighborhood with some local restaurants that were excellent. I will definitely stay there again when in Montevideo!
