we stayed for three nights and were very well received by the staff , specially when we arrived they offered a room and said they will change it as they had a big reception and were worried it would be too noisy, we moved to a bigger bedroom and not only enjoyed our stay but also the wonderful view and... We got there really early in the morning, and the service at front desk was really friendly. We got our room and the story was bit different, we had twin room (two beds), the beds where tiny, like kids beds, really thin. At the time Montevideo was really hot, and we couldn´t use AC as it was leaking and making... More

Nice venue for a gringo. Rates were reasonable. Staff was accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very well presented with long hours of availability. Nice small bar area for meetings and lounge area with fireplace. Nice view of River/Ocean and just across street from beach, which has a really nice and long area to walk.

On a short trip to Uruguay, I had a great stay in the Hotel Cottage, Montevideo. Conveniently located in Carrasco it's safe and comfortable. Good food and service. Nice friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again. Very convenient for downtown Montevideo and good local amenities. You can stroll out at weekends and evenings.

I staid here with my two kids in a triple room which was nicely decorated and although not huge, had everything we needed and enough space to move around comfortably. The hotel has been fully renovated and has a privileged location in front of the beach. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was modern, very functional and very clean. I... More

Nice boutique hotel, with comfortable rooms and attentive staff. Rates are reasonable. Location is far from Montevideo city center, but stayed there for business and our office is nearby. Would say this hotel is more for business than leisure. My only criticism is for the hotel restaurant. The breakfast was good but dinner was below average. Overall a good place... More

Stayed here with USATH Men's National Team for a tournament in Montevideo. The rooms were clean and large for a South American hotel. Large, functional bathrooms. Very friendly staff. We had almost all of our meals there as well, the food was top notch, the staff was helpful and accommodating. They took care of all our needs. It's a cheap,... More

Having stayed in a variety of the hotels in Carrasco I have found the one I will stay at again. Very comfortable and relaxed communal areas that are just the right size to allow you to be alone or integrate with other guests. The restaurant is well designed and presented and the food of good quality. The room was well... More

This time we chose this hotel because we had to be near Carrasco, so location was perfect. The hotel has undergone some remodeling ( lobby ) but the rest of the hotel needs to be updated as well. The carpets are dirty, the elevator was not working ( for the past 3 months we found out!) and it is also... More

The hotel is well located, close to restaurants and shops. It is a little far from downtown, which, in my opinion, is a plus, not a disadvantage! The double glazed window in the room makes sure you get a good night's sleep, despite facing the somewhat busy 'rambla' (coastal avenue). The mattress is comfortable (not too soft, not too firm),...
