We booked two rooms because our adult daughter was with us. No king size bed, no adjoining rooms in fact we were floors apart. Had to keep the curtain drawn because there was no sheer curtain to draw to let in the light. No hot food at breakfast even though the voucher stated "included full hot buffet breakfast". There were... more

This hotel is in a good location near the waterfront. The first night of my stay, the room was not so great. The toilet did not work very well. The next night, I received a better room that seemed to have been remodeled. The staff is nice and there is free breakfast. If you are a stuck up traveler, i... more

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, arrived on a Monday and checked out on Thursday. The location is in great neighbourthood, short walk to the ocean, and besides lots of restaurants. Cab ride from buquebus was inexpensive, and once there we took buses to the downtown area. We had a triple room - king size bed and pull out... more

Well located hotel a few minutes walk to the beach. Fantastic restaurants in the local vicinity. Can recommend great restaurant 5 minutes walk from hotel: La Spaghetteria 23. It was recommended by reception. Good room with kitchette, excellent shower and great bed. Would stay again any time. Melbourne, Australia more

Not so friendly staff. Tiny, inconvenient garage. Laughable breakfast available only three days a week. Very small swimming pool. Okay rooms. The upside: it is in a good, location and I got a very good price through a booking site. more

This Hotel is very unattractive from the street, however once checked in it becomes something else. The suite I had, 1001, was very cozy with a kitchenette, seating area, a bathroom with Jacuzzi and a separate bedroom with Plasma TV. I paid $126 a night including Internet and breakfast. The size of the suite I estimate with a sufficient 40... more

This hotel is located approximately 5 KM from the seaport. The hotel staff was courteous when we arrived during the night, and some receptionists speak English. My first impression is that the room and the hotel struck me as a hotel for business travelers (comparable to some that I visit for work). The room was very clean when we entered... more

I'm a little late with this review but have been prompted to write it now as I've recently recommended it to some friends. We stayed here in June07 for 10 days. The hotel is small but quaint. Staff, from check in thru maid service was excellent. Our room was an average size, but the bathroom was large by hotel standards.... more

If you are going to Montevideo and want to stay in a mid-priced hotel, in a safe area, with reasonable ammenities....this is the best place I have found. The neighborhood is residential with lots of shopping. The rooms are very large and perfect for families because they have pull out sofa beds in addition to the King size beds. Each... more
