We had with my friends a great time in the hostel. What we really love it was the terrace, the reague music and the nice vibraations of the place and the people who stay there. There is a supermarket in a min. The ramblas, very nice place to see the sunset and walk is just 2 blocks away, and u... More

We are young backpackers from Belgium and we slept here for 2 nights . The atmosphere is great ! Everybody is kind and super chill! It's like entering a group of friends. Nice music, clean bathroom! The hostel is a little bit cold though. Probably because it's so big and it is also winter. For young people who want to... More

I showed up with a friend quite late in the evening, as another friend had made a reservation on our behalf. When I walked in I had the worst gut feeling I’d ever experienced when entering a hostel, and I’ve stayed in some pretty basic holes during my 10 months of travelling round Latin America. We had to wait for... More

I stayed here two nights in August. The place has a cool grungy vibe and the staff are super friendly and great to have a few drinks with. Great murals on the walls and everything, beds were clean and comfy. Not sure why there were so many towels hanging everywhere... ?? It's a very big, largely open building, but hardly... More

Downstairs room like a dungeon, smells terrible, dirty, people having sex in the beds, average breakfast and crappy security. Seriously, for the sake of a couple of dollars stay elsewhere. Good location and staff okay, but overall - Not happy.

I`ve been three nights and we had a really good time in the hostel! Is clean, good breakfast (bread, dulce de leche, jam, corn flakes, milk, coffee, butter). Is close to the town, pubs, restaurants and only one block a supermarket. Big television, chill out place, nice and peace decoration. On saturday night when we went to sleep one guy appeared... More

Normally I am not one to write negative reviews, but this place gave me the creeps. When we arrived they didn't seem to know we had made a reservation and then gave us the wrong price twice before we checked their math. The women's bathrooms were dirty, had a nasty sulfur smell, overflowing trash, and broken, unusuable toilet seats. Fortunately... More

I have been traveling for 6 months, and the only place worse where I have stayed was made of Salt blocks in Bolivia. The hostel is in a great location and has potential, unfortunately no one cares about the experience of the guests. The rooms smell, there is mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and the kitchen is inexcusably... More

Lets say, this place is all about the staff. Carlos runs the ship which carries into the atmosphere of the entire hostel. There's great areas to lounge, the upstairs balcony is a wonderful place to unwind with a beer and meet fellow travelers, regular barbecues (asado.. delicious!), there is typically hot water in the showers, reliable internet, and even space... You just arrived in Montevideo but know nobody? Head on over to WF. It is a fantastic spot to meet, socialise and generally have fun. The nightly events do well in bringing people together. This is the kind of place where you will find a delicate mix of South American and European travellers ... and someone, somewhere is playing a... More
