This hotel is well-located in a safe area with a lot of nice - typical - restaurants as well as bars. 3 minutes from the seafront walk. do not trust the picture of the rooftop pool. it is very nice, but on official pictures it looks huge, but in reality it is tiny. no matter, it is very nice. the... We stayed in My Suites for 3 days and were very pleased with a large room for four people, great breakfast and friendly people for the wine tasting which was a great moment. The hotel is walking distance from beach and restaurant, you will however need a bus/taxi ride to get to the old town.

Pros: Nice area. Clean hotel. Good sized rooms. Cons: Too many hotels are sticking the word "boutique" when describing themselves. According to wiki they describe a boutique hotel as often containing: luxury facilities in unique or intimate settings with full service accommodations. Typically boutique hotels are furnished in a themed, stylish and/or aspirational manner. Boutique hotels are often individual and... More

Our tour organizer chose this boutique hotel for us. It is 4 blocks from the beach and the wonderful Rampala that runs for 22 kM along the river. The hotel is in the midst of lots of restaurants in a typical area of Montevideo. The hotel was clean and spacious with a delightful restaurant. The included breakfasts were delicious with... More

This is a nice hotel in a great part of town -- lively, fun to walk around, away from the center city, but in the center of things. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating -- at every turn they were there to help -- some had problems with English, but there was always a fluent speaker nearby. The rooms... More

This was one of the most pleasant hotels we have stayed in. The staff were uniformly courteous and knowledgeable, not only providing directions for transportation options, but also finding out about city and country tours and even providing wrapping materials for us so that we could safely pack wine to take home in luggage. The room was very big and... More

My wife and I stayed a few nights here and it was superb. Included on a daily basis is the wine degustation that was extreemly informative. The rooms are big and very comfortable and very relaxing. The staff are super friendly the location is superb, metres walk from la ramble coastline. Surrounded by restaurants and cafes and a large shopping... More

We spent three nights there. The room was comfortable, and the service was incredibly friendly and helpful. The evening wine tasting was very generous and educational. There are good restaurants nearby, as is the rambla (good for running) and the beach. If we are lucky enough to return to Montevideo, we'd stay there again.
