I picked Sur Hotel based on its TripAdvisor ratings and price and was not disappointed. I spent 3 nights in the standard room (least expensive of the 12 rooms at US$38 for non-Uruguayans who get a 10% tax discount). My girlfriend and I stayed in Sur Hotel for four nights, of which we spend three nights in a standard double room and one night in a superior double room with hydro massage.
