As a hostel, it was decent but really could have improved. There were rats on the roof when I was there and the staff was generally uninterested in guests. They would not allow outside alcohol, beer or wine into the hostel (which is unusual for South America) so you would have to go to their overpriced bar if you wanted... more

The hostel was disgusting! There was no water in the toilet, sink or shower. The bed was uncomfortable and the staff unfriendly. They played loud music in the middle of the night and people were noisy, impossible to sleep. Stay away! more

This newly renovated Hostel is located in a pretty colonial building, close to the centre of Montevideo. It nearly looks like on the great homepage - only the beds were a bit wornout and they don't have double rooms with private bathrooms. Apart from that a great place to stay. more
