Quiet, great service.. Perfect place to relax and stay a few days with a good book and see Machu Pichu. The restaurant serves great meals, I throughly enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The view from my room looked out over the gardens and mountain.. Perfect!!

Dear Guest: Thank for your great review about the hotel! As you say it is the perfect place to relax before or after visiting Machu Picchu, we are in the center of the Sacred Valley near to the most important archeological sites. We are glad to hear you enjoyed our food and service and that your experience was fantastic, that... More

Very pleasant. View wasnt that great but we had a standard room. Porters very helpful and food we had in the bar was very nice. Not very near to the main town. You would need to get a taxi. The view wasn't as stunning as we were expecting of the lake.

We stayed there for one night during our tour of the Andes and loved the place! The rooms are very nice, big and quiet. Also, because it was our wedding anniversary, we were upgraded in a suite (a huge duplex) and received a bottle of Cava, which was a very nice touch! The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Definitely... More

The wifi and internet in this place is painfully slow. Basically you can only get anything done after midnight while everyone is sleeping. Rooms are cold and the electric portable heaters barely do the trick to warm the rooms. Rooms near the road and driveway are loud. The location also doesn't offer much around it in terms of restaurants and... More

Dear Guest: We are sorry to hear your experience in the hotel was not the best one. As you say some rooms in the colonial area can be a little bit noisy, next year we will have windows with isolation from noise as part as the remodelation we will make to some rooms. We will also check our heaters which... More

The hotel is located along the main road passing Yucay. For the hotel business this is not a problem, since the first part of the buildings, that is situated next to the road, is not used for rooms. It is a nice hacienda with two inner courts and some buildings with rooms. Everything is more or less in order, but... More

I've used the LCY for my groups and they always deliver. The grounds are well maintained, the rooms are well appointed and the breakfast buffet is substantial. The staff is extremely accommodating (especially Breise!).

Was here for a meeting and stayed for several days. The hotel has good food and a good staff. It is the moderately priced option of the two hotels in Yucay. The crafts they sell are actually cheap--they let local villagers take turns selling there.

The entrance part is an old building, but the rest is newer, but built in a rustic style. Spacious garden with a lot of different plants, herbs and flowers. Also space for activities like ping pong and volleyball in the garden. Massage facility on the premises. Bar with a cozy fireplace in a separate building. Restaurant serving good food to... More

I would recommend this for those of you who want to visit Ollantaytambo. If you're interested in then traveling to Machu Picchu, it's only a 40 Soles cab ride and won't be that bad at all. This hotel is beautiful and provides a very restful environment!

We stayed at the hotel a few days to get used to the altitude before we traveled to Machu Picchu, Cusco and Titicaca lake. The hotel was very service-minded, but the village was small and dull. Ole Kristian Brastad, Norway

Dear Guest: As you mention the Sacred Valley is a good place to arrive to avoid mountain sickness but ii is also a good place to visit the nearby arqueological sites. It is true that Yucay, the village we belong to, is very quiet, it is one of the few towns that has maitained its essence. Urubamba, the village that... More
