We had a comfortabl room on the first floor. I really liked the hosienda feeling of the hotel. The convenience of local people selling their crafts was helpful and not over powering. A little bigger area or more seating in the lobby area would have worked better because of the tour groups. The restaurant looks out into the beautiful garden... More

Some rooms have no hot water, but there is no rhyme or reason to it. Our group had several rooms in one wing, with the following outcome: rooms 150 and 152 had hot water, but the room in-between them, room 151, did not have hot water. The water was so hot in room 150 that it had to be mixed... More

As part of a tour, stayed at the hotel for two nights. Based on other comments, I wasn't expecting much for this rural area hotel. We had a wonderful stay, hotel was clean. The noise was minimal (one morning there was a barking dog for about 5 minutes and loud music for a few minutes) and no traffic noise. We... More

Nice lobby area and rear garden with pool. The room had two single beds (which unfortunately seemed to be a theme in South American tour hotels) and lukewarm water that was too cold for a shower so I washed under the bath tap. Which was not ideal when about to hike the Inca Trail for four days without a shower.... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights before going on to Machu Picchu by train. When planning for our trip, our friends had suggested we stay in Sacred Valley, instead of Cuzco, where we flew in from Lima. The Sacred Valley is at a lower altitude and two/three days here before going to Cuzco allowed us to get acclimated... More

We loved the layout of this hotel. Rather spread out with open areas between room sections. Nice courtyard. Breakfasts were good in a nice dining room. The staff was helpful. The area is not outstanding, but quiet, except for the early rooster calls!

we stopped at this hotel for one night whilst in the Sacred Valley when we visited Machu Picchu. On first impression the hotel looked lovely, the rooms were clean and nicely decorated and the grounds looked pleasant and there was even a small pool. However, the rooms were built around central courtyards, out in the open, and to reach the... More

Hotel staff were friendly, breakfast buffet was lovely with breads fashioned into turtles, teddy bears, twists, etc.The grounds had pretty foliage that allowed one to walk around and relax. Our room was quiet.

Lovely hotel by the side of the main highway in Urubanba. Hacienda style with multi level accommodations, bar, dining room and pool. Service was excellent in the dining room but the food could be improved. Room was super clean and very quiet. The village of Urubanba is not too clean and definitely not interesting in itself. However, it is located... More

This is definitely an interesting hotel. The grounds are beautiful and lush. The hotel rooms were adequate in size and the bathroom was surprisingly large. It was a little loud at night, but I think that is to be expected in the area. We could hear lots of dogs barking at night and we were towards the front of the... More
