A very good check in and received a large room which had a large bathroom area with a very good shower. The bed was very comfortable and I had a very enjoyable evening in the hotel. Quite a few people staying in the hotel and the meal at dinner was very good. Music was played during dinner and I thought... More

Ok my review is based on a very short visit on our Peru Tour. We arrived after dark about 7-30pm .We left our suitcases in the room and went straight to the restaurant. It was busy . Three large pre booked parties. Most of our party arrived and they took our orders and we were served reasonably quickly. A tasty... More

Our tour company booked us into this hotel. We stayed 3 nights while sightseeing in the Sacred Valley on our way to, and from, Machu Picchu. The breakfasts were excellent, the grounds are beautiful, the architecture and decor in the public areas are nice, the pisco sours are good, the rooms are OK, but the location is poor, and the... Great location for acclimatizing in Sacred valley to a different altitude. It was a good boutique hotel in Urubamba, location is bit outside the town about 15-20 minutes walk, but taxi or Tuk-tuk is not expensive. the Ground is pretty and well maintained , has a small outdoor swimming pool, but it was to chilly to swim. The room is... More

A former hacienda, the gardens (small but lovely) and dining area are the highlight. The rooms (and bathroom) are large with ample closet space. The lack of a second chair in the room was a disappointing oversight, especially since there was a small patio with no seating. The single key can be a nuisance for couples who are not doing... I spent two nights in the San Agustin Hotel, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day of 2014. My room was beautiful with a view over a lovely garden. The hotel is like an old monastery, long walkways with quiet corners, beautiful flowers everywhere. The breakfast buffet is delicious, served in a big room with view of the gardens in the center.... This hotel is built in resort style - multiple two-level buildings with a courtyard. The landscaping is beautiful and a picturesque central garden and a swimming pool. The rooms are reasonably sized. Maybe because of the eco theme, the units do not have any air-conditioning system. However, the windows do not have fly screens, and it is sometimes not feeling... More

If you like camping, this is one step above. Very basic with lovely garden. Don't expect an elevator. Don't expect amenities. You get one key per room making one person the gatekeeper for the family. On the positive side you can b buy

This felt like a 5 star hotel to me, probably because the next few nights were going to be spent in a tent on the Inca Trail. This IS a really nice hotel though. My room was quiet and large, with a bathtub, hair dryer, TV and patio. Outlets are 240 volts only. It was really clean and I liked... More
