This unassuming looking place has the feel of a rustic resort in the heart of the Peruvian countryside. The gardens are lovely, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the common areas impressive. We stayed here two nights and dined here as well with our teo teenage daughters, and it was very pleasant. Highly recommend!

The road and the buildings across the street were under construction so the exterior didn't look too inviting as we pulled up. What a pleasant surprise when we walked back into the courtyard! Beautifully landscaped, a pool, view of the mountains and plenty of outdoor seating room. What more could you ask for after a day of hiking and touring?... More

Only a few negative comments: The exterior may not be so attractive to some, due to the hotel's location on a main street that is currently being reconstructed. The hotel is somewhat isolated from the main part of town (although that adds to its appeal, in my opinion). I really enjoyed my 2-night stay here (as part of a Gate... More

This is a comfortable place to stop while visiting the Sacred Valley and going to or from Machu Picchu. Some reviews complain about the road noise and given the location on the highway where the road is being "improved", I can understand that. I asked for a room in the newer two-storey section of the hotel which was both quiet... More

We stayed here in the Sacred Valley portion of our OAT tour of Macchu Picchu/peru. I loved waking up to the chorus of colorful native birds and being able to actually grab a cup of coffee from the breakfast area and sit outside each morning and bird watch. The hotel is missing out by not installing a few hummingbird feeder... More

Comfortable with nice grounds, spa, restaurant, bar. Room was large and bathroom spacious. Coca tea available at all times. Staff pleasant. Unfortunately, construction in front of hotel. Should be nice when done with road. Small grocery across street as well as souvenir shop.

This is not a deluxe hotel but it is really very nice and relaxing. Yes it is on the main road but it is a country road. It is a small strip with a few houses and shops. The rooms are a nice size and are well maintained. The courtyard is very pretty. I was sick one of the days... More

Right off a very busy and noisy street, with the front doors open, main area is very dusty, including the one only working computer which is beyond slow for connection. Was never able to get onto my email account. Room I was in was very comfortable and spacious, but modest, no refrigerator, nice size tv and bid bathroom. Staff were... More

Location on the highway and pretty awful. Nice pool unused. Lunch starts at 2pm which is insane. Restaurant food decent. Breakfast just OK. Rooms adequate without any outstanding features. Wifi was inadequate. There must be better!

The room was small and a distance from the main reception, but quiet with a view of the local farmland. We found it very comfortable and perfect for our needs. We stayed here on our way to the ruins of Machu Picchu.
