My boyfriend & I stayed at Las Chullpas for four nights to hike & tour various ruins while acclimating before our Inca Trail trek. We were extremely pleased with our stay at Las Chullpas. In fact, it was probably our favorite B&B during our two-week trip to Peru (and it was the least expensive). The grounds were beautiful, actually much... more

My wife and I had a lovely time at Las Chullpas on our honeymoon. We stayed three nights in a cabin with a large, comfy bed, a rustic fireplace, and a pretty decor, including two locked drawers. Chalo is a fine man to talk to about any topic, and he's a great cook. For a reasonable price, we enjoyed three-course... more

Las Chullpas is a sweet and pretty little hostal. Chalo, the owner, was endlessly available and helpful even though he had a limited staff and the hotel was completely booked. The bed was clean and comfortable with down pillows and a nice duvet. This is a simple place, so don't expect 500 thread count sheets or matching towels, but we... more

We (couple in early 30s) stayed 5 days here and loved it!!! Its an ideal location centrally situated in the Sacred Valley. Although Las Chullpas was outside of town, we found it easy to head into Urubamba as well as to the bus terminal just by hitching motor taxis off the road for 3/s (we always felt bad for the... more

I found Las Chullpas in HostelBookers.com and stayed for many days. It is a perfect and tranquil place to stay while exploring the Sacred Valley. It is situated in a small forest on the outskirts of Urubamba but is far enough away to feel you are right out in the country and moutains, although the town is only minutes away... more

This was not a positive experience for us, and I recommend caution if you intend to stay here. In a nutshell, here was our experience. We booked via e-mail and all went fine. We also asked the owner to arrange for a taxi to pick us up at the Ollantaytambo station because we were on the backpacker train that arrived... more

I was with me wife and kids two days at Las Chullpas. The first day before go to MP and the second day after MP. The hotel is in the forest at the foot of the mountains, 1.5 km from the road to Ollantaytambo, on the outskirts of Urubamba, about 10 minutes to Ollantaytambo. Here, at the middle of nature,... more

We arrived in Cusco and went straight to Las Chullpas in Urubamba in the Sacred Valley to allow our bodies to acclimatize. Unfortunatly on the way there I got very sick and arrived there in a state. Luckily for me this Eco Lodge has a wonderful Lady called Leonie who is a midwife and a herbal doctor in Urubamba. She... more
