Great visit before and after the 4 day Inca Trail hike. Wonderful place to unwind and recharge after hiking and camping. Great views and beautiful grounds. Spacious clean rooms and comfortable beds. Terrific decor. Thanks to the courteous hotel staff who searched high and low for a souvenir bag I misplaced on check-in. They had some trouble with service and... More

Beautiful setting, great service and a very good place to acclimate before going to Machu Picchu. The pool and sauna are great after a day exploring any of the ruins. Everyone I talked with who stayed their enjoyed it and all of the amenities as well.

My wife and I spent two nights here after the 4 day Inca Trail trek. It was exactly what we needed after that much time hiking and camping in the mountains. The grounds, common areas, and rooms are just amazing. I truly wish I had more occasions to be in Urubamba so I can stay here again. The staff are... More

Spending 2 nights here. A wow factor when you arrive. Beautiful reception with ceilings over 15 meters. Wood & stone used to blend into the mountain side. Peruvian Architecture at its best using local and natural minerals. A wonderful fireplace for an evening drink. Staff are so nice very helpful. Reserved lunch in the best restsurant in the town for... More

This hotel has got it all - gorgeous setting by the river and surrounded by mountains,  friendliest staff I have ever encounteted, and efficiency in dealing with any arrangements.  Hotel staff booked us a wonderful horseriding trip to the nearby mountains, another unforgettable experience.   We met Rodrigo, the manager, who was welcoming and gave us pointers on how to make... My wife and I stayed here two nights during a trip to Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley. The staff were friendly, the rooms were amazing, and the food was delicious. The thing to know is that they will charge two or three times as much for transportation (to Cusco, to the airport, to the train station) as using a... More

Great rooms, great bar, great dining, great spa (but men don't get a jacuzzi). The restaurant in particular was delicious (the special trout ceviche was exceptional, best of the trip), but only recommend doing it once (the second night make sure to go to Tres Keros - a delicious local restaurant). A really plush, comfortable two nights.

My wife and I spent two nights at this hotel. It's central location within the Sacred Valley was perfect for our leisurely exploration of all the sites, from Pisac to Machu Picchu. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The on-site restaurant served excellent food, and the wait staff was superb (especially Lizandro), from whom we received excellent entree recommendations and overall... More

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for one night on the way to Machu Picchu. I recommend skipping cusco and coming straight here from the airport. The service was spottY mainly due to lack of communication, many of the staff only have limited English, but the spa facilities, grounds and building are superb. Our room was large, beautifully decorated, with... More
