A somewhat isolated compound with beautiful grounds and very nice views. The restaurant is quite good and the bar pleasant. Overall physical plant is extremely attractive BUT had no air conditioning, Peruvian don't flush the paper toilets, and internet so slow that I could not get all my email. Our group used the meeting rooms for lectures and found it... More

We were part of a walking tour thru Vermont Bicycle Tours and they made all the arrangements in advance. What a 5 star experience! This appears to be a favorite place for Americans and Europeans. There is a buffet every meal with a varied assortment. It is very tasty and fresh and no one had stomach problems during our 4... More

This was our 'base' for 2 nights after we landed in Cuzco prior to visiting Ollantaytambo and Machu Picchu. The facility seemed pretty new and was very comfortable and quiet (except for some early morning birds 8^) The staff was helpful but had some trouble helping me maintain a Wi-Fi connection on my iPnone and iPad - the only reason... My husband and I were on a 10 trip of Peru with Gate 1 Travel. We opted for the hotel upgrades and this beauty was our stop for two nights in the Sacred Valley. The ever present coca leave tea and oxygen are available to help with the altitude adjustment, golf carts make it easy to get to the more... More

Waking to the beautiful mountains and hearing the sounds of nature made our stay just perfect. Though a bit isolated, the hotel has much to offer the weary traveller. The rooms are large and comfortable. The restaurant serves a great breakfast. The grounds are well maintained and they even have a resident llama and alpaca. The staff was most accommodating... More

We spent the night here after flying to Cusco from Lima, to assist with the acclimatisation process before travelling on to Machu Picchu. The rooms are in separate wings, we were not too far from the main building on the ground floor. It is very quiet there, there is nothing really about. Two older ladies sat from early in the... More

This hotel has beautifully manicured lawns. The rooms are nicely appointed and the beds are very comfortable. Our ground level room had a very nice enclosed sitting area. Second level rooms have a porch. Wifi in the rooms is not promised, but you might get it depending on where you are located. The meals (breakfast and dinner) were very good... More

After touring the sacred valley with our excellent guide, Raul Castelo, we stayed overnight in this well situated lodge, surrounded by the andean mountains. It offered spa services which we availed of. The front desk girl seemed "bored" but it did not dampen our enthusiasm for our next stop: Machu Picchu.

After hiking in Macchu Picchu, this hotel was a real paradise to rest. Its far from everything, but didn't bother us at all as we were there for one night to recover before we return to Cusco. Restaurant , all the Casa Andina have similar menus, and after staying in several locations, you do run out of ideas what to... More

The perfect place to unwind and acclimatise to the height. We were glad we left a day clear in our itinerary between Galapagos/Lima before Cusco and Machu Picchu and the whole holiday benefitted from this break. Yes the hotel isolated but that made no difference. We just relaxed in the beautiful grounds with amazing views of the Andes. The rooms... More
