Lovely grounds and setting. The hotel is out of the way, so there isn't much to do outside of the grounds, but most people don't stay for long anyway. The staff are patient and helpful. The planetarium visit (within the hotel) is worth it (US$10).

Enjoyed the peaceful setting however there is nothing near there. Need taxi to city but city of Urubamba, not so much there either! We ate one of our best meals of the trip in the dining room of this hotel. I had the trout, and my friends had the fillet minion. They are from Nebraska and say they never eat... More

we stayed 2 nights this dihotel. comfortable atmosphere with friendly hotel staff, although most of them can not speak English. hotel rooms are large and comfortable, with beautiful scenery around the hotel. I find it hard to leave this hotel. I feel like to stay longer and pamper myself at the spa .. But tight tour schedule does not allowed... More

This hotel is located in the middle of nowhere! We stayed therefor 3 nights and due to the location we were stranded and at the mercy of their not very good hotel food at all times. The hotel staff was extremely rude to our group. We had multiple day excursions booked, one of which was white water rafting, the hotel... More

While we only stayed one night before moving into Machu Picchu, it was a wonderful hotel. The area was professionally kept, the rooms were clean and spacious, we even had an outdoor shower. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting the Sacred Valley.

We had the privilege of staying here recently. Quite a stunning location, hidden away in the Valley. I must admit, when our taxi driver turned up the dirt road to the property, I began to wonder where the heck we were going? But once beyond the walls after a long drive from Cusco. Long, but incredibly scenic!. We were taken... More

It is a wonderful resort hotel for a quiet stay in Urubamba area. It is a bit outside the city but it is really worth to stay. A beautiful surrounding with walking track, gym and friendly staff are the keywords to select this hotel as next destination. Good landscape and nice breakfast are the add ons at this property

Gorgeous property situated in the heart of the sacred valley. Bungalow style rooms feature your choice of king bed/2 queens with a curved patio seating area. This hotel has beautiful courtyards that overlook the majestic andes. The breakfast buffet was great, and the service wonderful. Only downside is that wifi is only available in the lobby and it's slow, but... More

This beautiful hotel resembles a quiet and peaceful refuge in the Andes Mountains. All rooms are cosy and are decorated by locally inspired designs with rustic details and have wonderful views of the Andes. The rooms are arranged around large and beautiful gardens full of glorious colour. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. If you're looking for peace away from... More

A great place for kids with safe wide open areas and play ground. The staff were very friendly and happy to help. Initially we had an issue with the room that our travel agent had booked however this was not seen as an issue for the staff and they quickly changed to suit our needs.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Sacred Valley’s most complete hotel: a mountain chalet-styled retreat with panoramic Andes views from every room and every angle. On more than 8 landscaped acres, it breathes an air of tranquility and relaxation. Unique among Sacred Valley hotels – most of which remain isolated in the valley, offering precious little for guests to do – it contains an extraordinary, full-service “Sacred-Spa”, a domed Planetarium-&-Observatory for stargazing in the massive Southern-Hemisphere sky, and gourmet restaurant and bar. ... more   less
