Hotel grounds are amazing. My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights during our trip to the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. Of the 7 or so hotels we stayed in during our entire multi-week trip, our casita at the Sol y Luna was our best room, and our favorite overall hotel. Only wish we could have spent more... More

This was a fantastic place to stay. Just a pity it was so short. The gardens at this hotel stretch for what feels like acres. Beautifully kept and set out. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms too. The staff cater to every need. The food in the hotel is excellent. The best Scallops I have ever had. Very generous... More

This is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Great Accomodations great food great staff unbelievable location. We ate ate each of the two restaurants and both were excellent. We also spent some time in the bar sampling some of the local adult beverages with a wonderful bartender. Machu Picchu not far away

During our Kuoda guided tour of Peru, we stayed at the Sol y Luna while visiting The Sacred Valley. The private casitas were beautiful and well-appointed, and the grounds were breathtaking with amazing views and flowers everywhere you turned. The breakfast options were plentiful, with made-to-order eggs and omelets, additionally. We also ate dinner twice at one of the two... More

Located in Urubamba, Peru, in the Sacred Valley on the way to Machu Picchu, this property is a complete surprise and a "garden of Eden." Guests stay in casitas, large and nicely appointed. The dining room serves outstanding food, and the wifi is fast. Strolling through the gardens, one is treated to stunning views of the Andes, beautiful flowers, and... More

Imagine a garden in full bloom... Now imagine hundreds of hummingbirds having a feast. Now imagine your own little "casita" nestled in this setting, the Andes as backdrop, offering delicious linens, a hot water bottled tucked in between your sheets (!!!!) and the best towels ever. That's Sol&Luna. Now add a spa (that we couldn't enjoy-hence the two-day stay!), Relais... More

We stayed at Sol & Luna before headed to Machu Picchu. It was a beautiful retreat with a wonderful spa and restaurant. Each room its own little haven. They have a few options for restaurants, we ate at both and they were great. The spa was spectacular and it definitely felt like vacation.

This may be one of the most beautiful hotel grounds I've ever had the pleasure of encountering. The entire grounds are one big, lovely garden. If you venture around the property, you'll find a stable of gorgeous horses (have not fear, it's not a smelly experience : ) Our room was also charming and I loved the hot water bottle!... More

We stayed two nights at Sol Y Luna, Urubamba in the Sacred Valley to help to acclimatise to the altitude prior to going up higher to Machu Picchu. We are very pleased that we did this because I did have some effects with headaches the first morning but with special black tea, oxygen and rest I was feeling better by... More

Our casita was very nicely appointed and spacious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful. Breakfast was excellent. Didn't try either restaurant for lunch or dinner due to activities.
