We showed up in Urubamba with little idea of where to stay, and randomly picked Los Perales out of a guidebook. A mototaxi had no problem finding the little alley where he lives. We wish we could have stayed longer with this beautiful chaos-garden in the back--all kinds of plants, cats, an empty swimming pool, vines, benches if you can... More

We stayed two nights in the wonderful garden of Paulino and his family. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but really made our days was the incredible hospitality: They helped us to organise our trips to Maras Moray and the Salineras, cooked delicious and healthy meals with vegetables and fruits out of the garden, organised hamocks in the darkest night... A great stay in a small village in the Sacred Valley in a a quiet garden setting. The owner was extremely accommodating, helpful, and prepares a delicious and quite filling breakfast (additional fee, and well worth it). The clean and cozy rooms have garden views where you can see produce growing, some of which will be used in the breakfasts... More

We spent 4 nights at Los Perales and really enjoyed our time at this calm and peaceful spot. The room and hostal and there is some great hiking in the area. We caught a colectivo a couple of times to near Ollantaytambo to hike but it was a relief to escape the crowds and come back to this little haven... More

Highly, highly recommend Los Perales. The owner is really nice, and his family prepares a wonderful banana pancake breakfast with fresh papaya juice and marmalades made from fruits in their garden! I paid S/50 a night, which included breakfast (it's cheaper without breakfast, but you should definitely try their breakfast at least once). The rooms are comfy and cozy, and... More

We stayed two nights at Los Perales though could have easily stayed longer. It is such a charming, quiet little place that is hidden away from the main drag. The rooms are cosy, clean and good value. We loved sitting in the sprawling wild garden and eating the delicious breakfast and dinner made with produce from it. What really made... More

We arrived here without a booking relatively late at night. We were welcomed, shown to a room and told that breakfast would be served in the morning. We had read about the breakfast in the internet shop in town and this was the main reason we had chosen this place. The rooms are set around a large rambly garden full... More
