This is literally in the middle of no where, especially you come at night, it feels like you are driving through random streets, and then the dirt road it's on, leading into a vast darkened abyss. But then you wake up the next morning, and it's this calm restful retreat nestled in the mountains! The inn isn't near anything, so... More

This pleasant hotel consists of a main building with admin, restaurant, bar, etc. facilities and several independent two-story buildings with rooms. All rooms are spacious and comfortable, but try to get a second floor room with a view of the mountains. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and make for pleasant walks. The food was fine but not notable. Keep in... More

I agree with what has been stated in the other recent reviews. This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. There are lovely walkways through the beautifully landscaped grounds. The surrounding mountains glow reddish-brown in the sunshine.

Loved this hotel. Most rooms are grouped in free-standing, 2-story bungalows. Peaceful grounds, nice landscaping. Comfortable beds, and most importantly for hikers or bikers: AMPLE, SUPER HOT water. Very clean, two nice puffy comforters for cool nights.

The location of the lodge could be seen as its greatest asset or its greatest drawback, depending on what one is looking for. We wanted serenity and relaxation after a long day of traveling and before heading out to Machu Picchu - so the location suited us perfectly. By location I mean, there is not really anything in walking distance... More

The hotel was situated in the sacred valley between Ollantaytambo and Urubamba. We were worried when our bus dropped us off on the side of the road and we were picked up by a driver who appeared to be driving to the middle of nowhere. The location was wonderful and very peaceful, away from the tourist shopping and traffic. The... More

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this beautiful spot nestled in the valley. It was like an oasis and truly a surprise! The grounds are beautiful and the entire property seems to be VERY well-kept. The restaurant and bar were nice and enticing! There was a bonfire outside in the gardens which made the cool night much warmer.... More

The hotel is in a lovely spot in the Sacred Valley roughly half way between Ollantaytambo and Urubumba. Both towns are very easily accessible by collectivo for 1.5 soles (compared to s/35 we were quoted for a taxi!). You just flag them down at the top of the road. The rooms are clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The food is... More

This hotel was like a sanctuary. It is remotely located away from the busy cities. It is an ahhh factor for me. A place where you can truly relax with beautiful landscaping and the hotel was very clean. Just to sit out on the balcony and read a book and breathe in the fresh air. I even booked a massage...
