Remote location that feels very secure. The reception area is nothing special, but it does have a bar and this is where you can get WiFi. There is none in your room, or a TV, a radio, air conditioning or a clock. The rooms are large and spacious, beds comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was included with our stay, but... More

Me and my brother just returned from a trip to Peru and had the good fortune to stay at the Inkallpa Valle Sagrado. We were on a group tour that included a one-night stay at the hotel prior to our visit to Machu Picchu. We loved this place. It is very quiet and serene. The grounds and the buildings are... More

We stayed February 6th and 7th. Great check in and very friendly staff. Twin beds so my date had a very small sleeping area. Breakfast is included with our stay and it was very good. The bar has a very good selection of adult beverages and wines This is the place to stay!

This beautiful hotel is sort of in the middle of nowhere, but is worth finding. It's a unique experience. The grounds/gardens are beautiful and well cared for. The rooms feel very private and are beautiful and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent for dinner - good thing as we had no transportation and once you're here, you're here.... This is literally in the middle of no where, especially you come at night, it feels like you are driving through random streets, and then the dirt road it's on, leading into a vast darkened abyss. But then you wake up the next morning, and it's this calm restful retreat nestled in the mountains! The inn isn't near anything, so... More

This pleasant hotel consists of a main building with admin, restaurant, bar, etc. facilities and several independent two-story buildings with rooms. All rooms are spacious and comfortable, but try to get a second floor room with a view of the mountains. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and make for pleasant walks. The food was fine but not notable. Keep in... More

I agree with what has been stated in the other recent reviews. This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. There are lovely walkways through the beautifully landscaped grounds. The surrounding mountains glow reddish-brown in the sunshine.

Loved this hotel. Most rooms are grouped in free-standing, 2-story bungalows. Peaceful grounds, nice landscaping. Comfortable beds, and most importantly for hikers or bikers: AMPLE, SUPER HOT water. Very clean, two nice puffy comforters for cool nights.

The location of the lodge could be seen as its greatest asset or its greatest drawback, depending on what one is looking for. We wanted serenity and relaxation after a long day of traveling and before heading out to Machu Picchu - so the location suited us perfectly. By location I mean, there is not really anything in walking distance... More
