We stayed here for 4 nights after trekking to Machu Picchu and it was the perfect place to relax. The grounds are gorgeous, with peacocks and other animals roaming freely. The rooms are palatial, and the staff is wonderful. The included breakfast buffet is very elaborate and tasty. The location is remote but there really is no centrally located hotel... More

We stayed there a few nights as a family and with friends. The place is secluded and really has a distinct style. The presence of a chapel in the property contributes to this. The peacocks & the lamas as well. The food is good but not great.

what a beautiful place in the middle of hardship, hard work, one feels almost guilty laying back watching the stars as you cN recall the workers in the field just outside the walls toiling the soul, via oxen

The hotel grounds are beautiful. The location is remote. The breakfast was good. Our family had 4 rooms. When my sister checled in she noticed there was a space heater in her room because there was no heat. My other sister's room was also cold so she requested a space heater also. The front desk said they would bring one... More

I unfortunately had to cancel this reservation. I was told I would have a charge fee which I was sad about but understood. However the hotel charged me the entire reservation instead and have not refunded anything back to me after 10 days of requests to do so. Anyone who does business like this should not be trusted!

We were here for two nights while we toured the Sacred Valley. The only reason I give this a 4 and not a 5 is because of the location. The location is beautiful with a river, mountains on either side, gorgeous grounds and attentive staff. However, once you are here, there is nowhere else to go. It is located on a... More

The grounds were gorgeous, definitely the best part of the hotel. the room was spacious and comfortable. All the food was only so-so. The service was good but not great as sometimes when we were trying to call or get service we couldn't find anyone to help us; everyone was friendly though

The hotel is decent, but it's located in the Sacred Valley of Peru, one of the filthiest garbage dumps in the world. We had to stop there because it was part of our Machu Picchu trip, and we were forced to stay at the Aranwa for one night. The internet was down because it "rained recently", and the restaurant was... More

This is a truly outlandish hotel at a wonderful location on the sides of the famous Urubamba river, it is a resort in itself. They almost have a private bank that you can walk out to (do it if you find the time). The hotel is located on a very large property with well landscaped gardens , bridges and water... More
