We were pleased with our two night stay at the Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel and Wellness. We arrived in off season, so the resort was not full and truly we felt like we were the only people there. At first we had a colonial room by the river, with views of a roof top, and a base board hanging off... More

First, let me start with the positive. I got a suite, which was HUGE. Two floors. separate dinning room, living room with fireplace, upstairs master suite, huge Jacuzzi tub, and designer shower. It's larger than the apartment I live in. The grounds are also beautiful, and the staff is very friendly, with decent English. Now for the not so good.... More

This very special hotel has large, beautiful gardens and many other attractions: an old hacienda, chapel, spa, jacuzzi and infinity pool, etc. One of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed (and I've stayed in gorgeous hotels around the world). Friendly, attentive service.

This place was absolutely beautiful. You go down a dirt road thinking god where am I staying and you come this beautiful resort. They pay attention to detail. I ate at the bar and had the cuy for dinner and it was amazing. The bartender was great. The rooms were beautiful. Make sure you take a walk down by the... More

Overall this is a really lovely hotel, with great rooms and attentive staff. However, they failed the feather test. I had arranged for a feather-free room and had been assured by my travel group that I would get this. I was so tired I collapsed on the bed for a few hours upon arrival, only to wake up feeling pretty... More

The grounds of this hotel are stunningly beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. It feels like a mini village with a spa, shops, koi ponds, pool/hot tub, restaurants etc. but it doesn't have the feel like some huge impersonal resort. I though the restaurant was really good and the breakfast had many choices. I often hung out in... More

A simply amazing, exquisite resort and spa with EVERYTHING you might want to enjoy your stay. Rooms are first class. Service is first rate. When did you last stay where llamas and peacocks roamed the property; where the hotel had its own art museum illustrating the native culture as far back as the 1920s; with it's own orchid garden? Zero... More

I stayed at the Aranwa Sacred ValleIy Hotel & Wellness Hotel recently on our way to Machu PIcchu. The hotel itself is gorgeous, particularly the public spaces, lobby, halls, grounds etc. Our room, shared by three persons, was small, but had a balcony overlooking the well manicured grounds. The shower was one of my favorite elements with both a rainshower... More

The Aranwa is a beautiful luxury hotel complex in a peaceful and pretty garden setting framed by distant mountain peaks. Our accommodations at the Aranwa were upgraded to a two-room suite in the old hacienda section of the hotel. The room was tastefully appointed in Spanish colonial style and very comfortable. The modern tiled bathroom featured a Jacuzzi for two,... More

I'd stayed at Aranwa's boutique hotel in Cusco, which was great, but the size and luxury of the property in the Sacred Valley was a surprise. I only stayed for one night during a busy work schedule (and declaration: I was a guest of the hotel, although reviewing accommodation was NOT part of my brief. This is a genuine personal... More
