We were on an organized tour and stayed two nights as this lovely, serenely private spot en route from Cusco to Machu Picchu. The road going in looked pretty sketchy, but once inside the entrance gate it was all beautiful with lawn, lots of flowers, a pond, and hummingbirds. The attractive lobby/dining area has outdoor seating and wifi access. We... More

Excellent lodge in the middle of the Sacred Valley of Peru. The rooms, hotel manager, chef and staff provided a very enriching experience! It was a yoga retreat stay and it was perfect. The food was extremely healthy and the Pisaq sours divine! The hotel manager arranged so many options for activities. One of my favorite was the horse back... More

Not easy to find unless your on an organised tour as out of the way and not convenient for ant towns if no yransport, stunnigly beautiful gardens, bar with music/tv. I went on a guided tour through Peru and one of the stops was to stay at the Villa Urubamba. We stayed for 2 nights and the second I got there it was by far my favorite hotel of my time in Peru. You are surrounded by mountains and trees and the perimeter is very open and private. The staff... More

Stayed here 2 nights back in October while on a guided tour to Cuzco and Machu Picchu. The grounds and setting are simply spectacular....beautiful landscaping, flowers, decor...surrounded by the Andes. Very quiet and peaceful. The biggest bed I have ever slept in...at least 7 feet wide. Food and service were good enough, but the visual impact of the Villa Urubamba... More

The room was comfortable quiet and clean, the welcome tea and conversation was good and the grounds were lovely. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast as well as the good service. This is a good rural destination at which to relax near the many Sacred Valley sites to visit.

We stayed here as part of a tour with Overseas Adventure Travel, so we didn't have to do all the normal research to find the place, check in, pay for the room directly, and related stuff. With that in mind, when you first arrive at this hotel, you have to drive through a poorer section of town and then you... More

We also stayed at the Villa Urubamba while touring and can not say enough about it. Beautiful backdrop scenery, very nicely appointed rooms, good food, hospitality was exceptional. Would love to return this wonderful villa in the future. Would highly recommend it to traverlers while in the Sacred Valley area.
