Room was adequate; bed was small but comfortable. Tiny bathroom with bleak towels. I do admit it was on the SECOND day that I realized the ceiling in the bathroom was a sheet of styrafoam. Yep, styrafoam. No heat in bedroom or bathroom, but there were adequate blankets. Easy check-in and cash-only; staff in and out of the office and... more

We tried for two weeks to have this hotel give us confirmation over email...they never responded. On arrival to Cuzco a travel agent helped us book a room no problem...we stayed in Pisac our first night so as to avoid too much trouble with the altitude. We really enjoyed this spot. The room was clean, warm bedding, cute inside and... more

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It sits right on the Plaza de Armas and you get to witness upclose Pisac’s truly wonderful market, especially from the balcony of the hotel which offers some great people-watching. The hotel is small and cosy, and the rooms are tastefully decorated in a Southwestern + Andean style, although the hotel... more

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Pisaq in August. The lobby and rooms were beautifully decorated, the beds were comfortable and the staff, though they didn't speak much English, were very helpful. There was plenty of hot water and my only quibble with the place was that the bathroom door wouldn't stay shut without something propped against it.... more

First negative... We made a booking for a double by email. Had an email reply from Fielding, the American wife. When I wrote back to ask whether a particular tourist attraction was worth seeing, I never got an answer. Second negative... We called to confirm on arrival in Peru. No problem. But when we got to the hotel, they didn't... more

We spent one night in Pisac in order to acclimatize ourselves to Machu Picchu. This hotel was perfect. The price was very reasonable and the location is the best. Pisac is a very small town with little going on at night - just what we wanted. We had a cute room with a bathroom that was sunk down a few... more

Spent one pleasant night in Pisac in April. The hotel was clean and comfortable, nice service and a pretty interior--a bit chintzy on the breakfast (we had to pay for 2nd cups of coffee and something else--eggs, maybe?--that we weren't expecting to pay for). They might be better served to charge a little more and give more with breakfast. Pisac... more

Spent one night here in April and it was okay. Our room was small, dark and cold as was the bathroom. There were dead flies on the ceiling and cobwebs in the shower. Beds were comfortable. Nice common areas and wonderful location right on the square. Of all the places we stayed in Peru Hotel Pisac had the least friendly/helpful... more

We stayed overnight in Pisac so we could attend the Saturday market. The town is very quiet and very untouristy at night. The high point of our stay was hanging out in the square and watching a big fancy wedding in the plaza cathedral. The hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable and has a pleasant restaurant out front. We had... more

The best deal in our travels in Peru. 13$ a night per person for very clean, handsome rooms with wooden floors and bathrooms (hot showers) with a "new mexican" decor. The half courtyard has some nice flowers (see the photo). Small place about 20 rooms. Get one on the second floor. The main negative was that they were doing remodeling... more
