The room was large, clean and comfortable with a great view, lots of hot water for showers, good location on road between main square and railway station and a lovely courtyard. Breakfast was good with homemade elderberry jam - we came home late one evening and they were cooking it on an open fire in a large cauldron. We stayed... More

The rooms were quite basic but worked well. The promise of hot water for the showers didn't quite deliver! But the staff were friendly and put themselves out to give us breakfast at 4am to allow us to get off to Machu Picchu. The courtyard was idyllic for sitting out in the sun and relaxing under the shadow of some... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. Just found it by accident walking from bus station. Had large room with a front shared veranda that looked out at the mountains and the ruins. Clean, safe and quiet. Breakfast was extremely filling with good choices. Hot shower. Friendly staff. Fast WIFI. Great location to walk to Peru Rail or into town for shop... More

We stayed here on as part of a tour. This was on our honeymoon. We got a room with two single beds which was the first let down. Then in the bathroom there was trash in the shower, which was obviously not cleaned. There were also dead bugs in the bathroom which is disgusting. Not happy at all and unfortunately... More

Hotel Munay Tika is located adjacent to the river in Ollantaytambo and within easy walking distance to restaurants, cafés and shops. It's only a very small, yet beautiful, town and everything is pretty much within easy walking distance. The street the hotel is located on seemed quite busy with people and vehicles so it could be noisy if you had... More

Had originally booked this hotel for only one night but soon after arriving I cancelled my other reservations and planned to stay here again when I returned from MP. Clean rooms, some with some great views, helpful and friendly staff. Way above what I expected for the price. Stayed here on and off throughout my trip and would highly recommend... More

After a tiring day at Machu Picchu, we trained to Ollanta for a stopover, as the train from there to Cuzco was out of order. Lugging our gear from the station, we shortly found an unassuming entrance to this hotel and rang the bell. Continuing surprises inside as we were warmly welcomed, shown to a comfortable room with hot shower,... More

Stayed here as part of a tour. This was the overnight hotel before we started our Inca Trail trek. The room we had was upstairs. It was large but pretty basic. Bathroom was okay, enjoyed a nice hot shower which was going to be my last for a few days. Breakfast was adequate. I guess most people staying there would... More

Homey and basic but also clean and comfortable with very friendly and helpful staff. What you get is great for the price and they handled our group of 14 with no problems. The breakfast room is bright and clean and the food tasty and filling but not fancy. It is good basic fare. Toilet facilities and showers were better than... More

"Munay Tika" means "beautiful flower" in the Quechua language. This hotel is aptly named because of the lovely open courtyard linking the front lobby with the rooms in the back. It is full of beautiful flowering trees. We stayed there two nights. This is not what I would call a fancy hotel, but it has everything one needs for comfort!... More
