When I read the reviews I thought it will be better, it was not bad but it was just ok. The room was cleaned, no TV, it is just a room to spend the night after a long day. We had to leave early in the morning and they arranged transportation to Cuzco airport, as almost everything in Peru, do... More

Our stay at Apu Lodge was very positive. After almost 24 hours of traveling, the quiet atmosphere and comfortable beds were a great relief. The hotel is located about a five minute walk from the center of Ollantaytambo, and I think the location is unbeatable. The breakfast that is served every morning is very tasty and filling. There is hot... More

Ollantaytambo is a wonderful place to stay and Apu Lodge is a delight! Our family room with amazing mountain views was huge and the beds with duvets were warm and comfortable. Shower was hot and powerful. Free tea and filtered water were available in the reception/sitting room and there was wifi too. Breakfast was substantial and tasty and the staff... More

Nice, warm staff at this little B and B. Great views--you can see Inca ruins. Would get five stars, but the wireless was terrible, and it's pretty far from Ollanta's main square. Pluses: feels very homey and has a lovely garden, and the manager's adorable five year old son loves to hang out with guests

The Apu Lodge was the perfect place to begin (and end) our stay in the Sacred Valley. We stayed five nights, and came to truly appreciate the staff and the super location. Tucked in below ruins behind the lodge, looking out at the Inca fortress across the valley, we were stunned by the awesome view. The lodge itself was perfectly... More

Our stay at Apu Lodge made our time in Ollantaytambo comfortable and wonderful. Beautiful scenic views of the city and mountains beyond greeted us each morning. The breakfast they provide was delicious and had a good variety of fruit, granola, eggs, yogurt, fresh bread, and coffee/other hot drinks. The room was very comfortable, and the service was outstanding. I'd definitely... More

The location is amazing: near the edge of town, quiet, beautiful view, hammocks in the garden. The owners are very nice and knowledgeable about things to do in the area. The breakfast is great. I wish we had stayed here more than one night.

Our group recently stayed at Apu Lodge for several nights, using it as our home base before and after visiting Macchu Picchu and to acclimate to the altitude upon arrival in the Andes. Staff were all friendly, knowledgable and accommodating, including Samish, the Lodge's adorable resident four-year-old. While the beds were a bit hard for my personal preference, the rooms... More

Apu Lodge lived up it the reviews. Had the best beds and pillows in Peru as well as bedside reading lights. The garden is beautiful with a great view. Very relaxing with hammocks to read or nap in. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
