The Apu Lodge was the perfect place to begin (and end) our stay in the Sacred Valley. We stayed five nights, and came to truly appreciate the staff and the super location. Tucked in below ruins behind the lodge, looking out at the Inca fortress across the valley, we were stunned by the awesome view. The lodge itself was perfectly... More

Our stay at Apu Lodge made our time in Ollantaytambo comfortable and wonderful. Beautiful scenic views of the city and mountains beyond greeted us each morning. The breakfast they provide was delicious and had a good variety of fruit, granola, eggs, yogurt, fresh bread, and coffee/other hot drinks. The room was very comfortable, and the service was outstanding. I'd definitely... More

The location is amazing: near the edge of town, quiet, beautiful view, hammocks in the garden. The owners are very nice and knowledgeable about things to do in the area. The breakfast is great. I wish we had stayed here more than one night.

Our group recently stayed at Apu Lodge for several nights, using it as our home base before and after visiting Macchu Picchu and to acclimate to the altitude upon arrival in the Andes. Staff were all friendly, knowledgable and accommodating, including Samish, the Lodge's adorable resident four-year-old. While the beds were a bit hard for my personal preference, the rooms... More

We are so pleased to have spent an entire week relaxing in Ollantaytambo and not just the requisite day or two many do on their way to and from Machu Picchu. The lodge is spotless and well designed with FANTASTICALLY plentiful and strong hot water. …Trust me; you’ll want a good hot shower after hiking MP and climbing Wayna Picchu…which... More

Apu Lodge is an oasis in the already beautiful Ollantaytambo. It has a peaceful garden and hammocks with a stunning backdrop of the mountains and fort. Room was comfortable and well kept with a great view. The town square (with plenty of dining options) is a short walk away through ancient cobble streets that take you back a thousand years.... More

This is a beautiful location, well-maintained and very friendly and helpful staff. The room we had was huge and had a great view of the mountains and the hotel grounds, where there are hammocks and beautiful flower beds. They offer WiFi in the lobby and laptop to use if you need it. The also have filtered drinking water available to... More

We stayed at the Apu lodge for 3 nights. The location is great with an awesome view of the ruins and the grounds are beautiful and relaxing. The traveling couples that we met that were working at the front desk were very friendly and nice to talk too but since they were just working there for free rooms for a... More
