We stayed at Apu Lodge with our 4 children in June and loved our stay. The location and the views are fantastic. We had a family room for all 6 of us that was clean and spacious. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the included breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

Apu Lodge is a great little B&B in a great little town. Located a few blocks off the main square at the end of one of the narrow little pedestrian streets in the original part of this Incan town, it was a relaxing little spot to hang out for a few days before my wife and I set out on... More

The only regret we have about Apu Lodge is having spent only one night there... The place is beautiful with a great small garden, nice views and clean and well kept rooms. The breakfast is a nice way to start the day with eggs, jams, bread, fresh fruits, teas and coffee... But above and beyond, Kelly at the reception together... More

The lodge in itself is average but the location sucks. I booked at APU based on TripAdvisor reviews. The views are only from the second story rooms and they were not what I pictured. Most importantly the APU Lodge is a very long walk to the Plaza and after all the walking you will do visiting the various sights or... More

I am glad that you liked our staff and the Lodge. As our website and other reviews make clear, Apu Lodge is a five minute walk up a cobblestone pedestrian street from the plaza, not really a long way. The other place you stayed is a very similar distance from the plaza along a busy road down towards the station.... More

Welcoming and comfortable. Staff could not have been more helpful or charming. Lovely garden and we had a very relaxing stay. The rooms were good size and slick and span. The town itself is like a living museum.

Friendly, welcoming place, tea and filtered water available, as are heaters for those with thin blood. Quiet, restful, great breakfast. Helpful English speaking staff most of the time. We went to Machu Pichu by train from here and then back. Laundry service avail at extra charge. Town has both a food and tourist market. Free access ruins close by, steep... More

I read that the town of Ollantytambo was worth visiting for more than just an overnight on your way to Machu Pichu, so I booked 3 nights at this lodge. I have to say, the town was the highlight of the whole trip to Peru. The lodge is only accessible by foot, up a narrow cobblestone street, built by the... More

This hotel is set at the end of a street in the old section of Olly accessible only by foot. It is about 5 mins away from the Plaza. It is accessible only by foot and not by car. Apu is situated in a beautiful garden at the base of a sheer cliff which houses the ancient granaries. It is... More

Our family of three stayed two nights at this lodge. The lodge is in a beautiful, quiet setting, and in an excellent location. We stayed in the triple room, which had plenty of space, was very comfortable, and with hot showers after our busy days exploring. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The staff even had breakfast waiting for us and... More

We loved this hotel and loved this town. It is located at a very quiet dead-end street a few blocks off the main square. You cannot get there by car, you have to walk, but the hotel will pick up your luggage on the square if you need them to (we didn't). We arranged airport pick-up in Cusco through the... More
