Great hotel with views over the ruins and mountains depending which room you get. Gloria was very helpful arranging tours and taxis. The room was large and comfortable, great place to stay for a few nights to explore the local area. Close to the train station and various attractions. Breakfast was good and would definitely recommend this hotel as a... More

Really reasonably priced and in an excellent part of ollantaytambo close to the railway station for trips to Machu Picchu ! Rooms a little cold & could do with a heater , wifi very intermittent . Ollantaytambo doesn't require more than a 2 day stop it is however a lovely little village with some wonderful inks ruins - some restaurants... More

It surely has potential with rooms around a patio. Hostess is very friendly, bed is good, bfast ok. Particularly liked the fresh flowers in the room. On the improvement side: in room 10 the shower head was full of chalk, making a solid water beam difficult. When the neighbours started their shower, mine almost stopped. Furniture is a hodgepodge of... More

Definitely glad we stayed here only for one night. The location was great- right near the train station. We stayed here before we started our hike of Machu Pichu, after our Sacred Valley tour. My husband and a friend stayed in a double room, and our 2 friends stayed in a smaller room. Both rooms were upstairs. Ours was very... More

Our party of nine stayed here for three nights while we toured the Sacred Valley and Machu Pichu. We had a room with 4 singles, and two rooms with a double and a single. All rooms and bathrooms were clean. We had plenty of hot water with good water pressure. The sheets and towels were a little thin, but serviceable.... More

My wife and I stayed here one night on our way to Machu Picchu. The rooms, service, and breakfast were all basic but more than adequate. Ollantaytambo is not a big town, so you can easily walk to the nearby ruins, the market, and the train station to Aguas Calientes. Definitely recommended for budget travelers.

We stayed here a couple of nights before heading on to MP. The rooms were very basic. At times we had no hot water, we lost power for one whole night, lost water for an afternoon. They were nice and brought us a candle the night we lost power. It was reasonably loud in the hotel at night, but a... More

We stayed at Hotel Las Orquideas for one night before our trip to Machu Picchu the next day. The hotel is nice -- convenient location between the plaza area of town and the train station. Across the street from the river, you can hear the river at night and it makes for a peaceful night's sleep. The rooms are spacious,... More

We stayed here for three nights. It is in a great location in Ollantaytambo. You can hear the river all night from your room. The family that runs it is very warm and kind. The rooms are clean and sparse. You can walk easily to the train to Machu Picchu, the ruins at Ollantaytambo and the graineries, but it is... More
