As a group of 21 we stayed at this hotel overnight on our way to Machu Picchu. We arrived late in the afternoon after a full day travelling from Cusco, the Sacred Valley and visiting the Inca Fortress ruins in Ollantaytambo. The rooms are located in several "villas" scattered around the property. Our room was located on the second floor... More

We stayed here after a day of touring the Sacred Valley, and before the train to Machu Picchu. It is a beautiful oasis of flowers and birds at the foot of the mountains, and is only a few blocks from the train station. You feel peaceful and isolated in this quiet, tranquil place. We wish we had planned a few... More

This is probably the best hotel in Ollantaytambo. It is perfectly situated very near the train station to Machu Picchu. The grounds of the hotel are stunning - the flowers were beautiful and it was immaculately groomed. The service was fair, and the WiFi does not work anywhere on the property. The rooms are basic, but quaint and clean. The... More

We stayed here the night before going to Machu Picchu; the train station is a 5 minute walk. Very nice grounds and gardens and great view of mountains. We woke to see Llamas outside our window trimming the grass. What a site! The restaurant food was good and the staff friendly. internet service was excellent. Ollantaytambo ruins nearby and worth... We enjoyed our stay here overall. The location is great - just a minute from the train station and about a 5 minute walk up to the town's main square. The room was good with a big bed, TV and ok bath/shower. However when we arrived reception didn't bother to show us to our room and the receptionist's English was... More

I was feeling a bit anxious about this section of our trip, as I wasn't sure why we needed to spend two nights here on our way to Machu Picchu, but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is set in beautiful gardens, conveniently located for the station and a short walk out of town. We had a room upstairs with... More

I think the best things about this hotel is the garden (you might spot a hummingbird if you are lucky) and the beautiful mountain scenery. I found the rooms themselves quite simple and a little rundown and need of a facelift. I ate at the hotel restaurant as I was tired and not feeling up to walking into town (about... More

We stayed here on our way to Machu Picchu, as it is minutes walking to the Ollantaytambo train station. It is very picturesque. The buildings are rust colored with nice designs. Reminded me of Sona Pani resort in the Himalayas. The hotel was booked via World Class travel service, so dont know how much we payed for a night. We... More

We loved this hotel. Very clean, beautiful manicured grounds and we woke up to see Llamas outside our window. Excellent breakfast. We had dinner there at night and if it is cold and you are looking for something warm try their soups made with milk. Just delicious. All in all i would rate this as a lovely hotel and we... More

Definitely a step above backpacker hotels, yet not a bit pretentious, this hotel feels like an oasis in the charming but dusty town. Beautiful grounds, inviting common spaces (bar, TV lounge, fireplaces). Better then average restaurant. I was happy to find tea and COFFEE available at all times. Easy walk from train station, not far from main plaza. Excellent location... More
