Definitely a step above backpacker hotels, yet not a bit pretentious, this hotel feels like an oasis in the charming but dusty town. Beautiful grounds, inviting common spaces (bar, TV lounge, fireplaces). Better then average restaurant. I was happy to find tea and COFFEE available at all times. Easy walk from train station, not far from main plaza. Excellent location... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night as part of a tour group. The room was quiet, large and nicely furnished and the free wi-fi worked well. Dinner was an Ok buffet but the breakfast was not as good as most of the other hotels we stayed at in Peru - buffet was not very extensive and service lacking.... More

This hotel is conveniently close to the railway station, set in a peaceful well maintained garden with views of the surrounding mountains and the Inca remains of Ollantaytambo. The restaurant was rather large and impersonal serving average food and stale coffee during the day. Our accommodation however, although a good size with views overlooking the gardens was less than acceptable,... More

This hotel was located at the foot of the Ollantaytambo Fortress and and just a few steps from the train to Machu Picchu. The room was clean and spacious and had a great view. The restaurant was good and had the best soup I have ever experienced, "Inka Quinoa"!!!

I stayed here one night on return from Machu Picchu fortunate to get the last available room without reservations. It is located about halfway on the road from the train station to the historic el centro. As other reviewers have noted, the grounds are quite nice -- terraced, manicured, extensive, and tranquil. My room was clean and comfortable, the television... More

My wife and I stayed here during a trip through the Sacred Valley. This was an excellent location with a free breakfast. The rooms were well appointed, although the bathroom was in need of a good cleaning (there was definitely an aura of old urine and mold that should have been addressed). Beyond that minor inconvenience, the hotel was very... More

We have enjoyed our stay here so much. Fabulous views of the ruins and the mountains from our very large room. The restaurant is wonderful, the staff very accommodating. The grounds are gorgeous and you can walk anywhere easily from this location. Someone is always cleaning something, it's spotless. Loved the visit, thank you!

The gardens are beautifully laid out to represent the local countryside, and the rooms are simple but comfortable. Our only complaints were that we ordered a double room and got a twin, and that the breakfast could have been better (the hot food was limited and dried up). The hotel is a short walk from the station, and 10 minutes... More

I stayed in this hotel for three nights with friends. It's well placed in Ollantaytambo, being very near the railway station and only a short walk (or a cheap trip in one of the local motorised taxis) to the centre of town. The rooms were very good although ours didn't have a heater (we could have had one if we'd... More

Mountains on one side, Ollantaytambo on the other and hummingbirds in the flowers it was hard to know which way to look. Our room was comfortable food in the restaurant good and the bar was a good place to talk about our day. It was nice to be able to walk to the train to Machu Picchu.
