The attentive service and the proximity to the train station that will take you to either cusco ou aguas calientes (Machu Picchu) make up for the bathrooms of this hotel which are very clean but simple. Although very charming on the outside, the rooms and mainly bathrooms are not as charming or thoughtfully decorated as the rest of the place.... More

According to our guide it is the best hotel in Ollantaytambo. My experience is a bit restricted in that respect, but I can confirm that it is an extremely nice hotel with clean and very cosy rooms, surrounded by a beautiful garden with lots of flowers. You will smile when you enter their yard! Most of the travelers staying in... More

This hotel was very clean, and mostly modern, and it was right next to the train station - maybe 100 steps away. The only negative was that there were no king or queen beds - just twins. My shoes squeaked constantly since the floors were so clean and waxed. No complaining here, just an observation that I often woke others... More

This colorful and delightful small hotel, is ideally located if you want to use it as your jumping off spot to Machu Picchu. It is right next to the train station, and in the fort/ ruins town of Ollantaytambo. You can easily walk into the village. Get up to the buildings of interest. And dine at the restaurant. but the... This hotel is conveniently situated 5 minutes' walk from the train station but a 10 minute uphill walk to the town centre. It consists of three units with 10 rooms each set in attractive grounds with humming birds. We were first given a twin room on the ground floor but the front desk readily changed it to a double on... Room was ok at best and seemed to have a musty smell but seemed to be better than most of the other hotels in Ollayataytambo. This hotel is ok for one night if serving as a bridge to Machhu Picchu. Good location, walking distance to the train station.

This was a best value hotel. The property was located in the heart of the Sacred Valley in the town of Ollantaytambo. It was walking distance to the train station, where you can take the train to Machu Picchu, and to several good restaurants. The Hotel was a very nice option with lovely gardens and spacious rooms, grouped in lodges.... More

We stayed here as a group of 24 during a 2 week journey around sacred valley and lake Titikaka. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The hotel itself is located between the town square and the railway station, surrounded by quiet garden space and is an oasis of calm filled in the day with hummingbirds which is great... More

We stayed 1 night, but this was the best hotel we stayed at in the Cusco region. The rooms are in several separate smaller buildings, with amazing views from the windows. Very nice grounds and plants. Breakfast had lots of delicious choices.

This was our favorite place to stay on our trip to Peru. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and their food was very good. It was a very comfortable place to come home to after a busy day exploring. It is in a great location; walking distance to the train station and to the main plaza in town.... More
