Stayed here one night before leaving for Machu Picchu. Enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful grounds and enjoying the scenery. Rooms very comfortable, great breakfast. Within walking distance to train station and they allowed us to leave our suitcases with them for the night we stayed in Aquas Calientas Would highly recommend this hotel

We spent three nights in the Pakaritampu hotel and would highly recommend it as either a base or a destination. The rooms are very comfortable and the view from ours - Veronica Peak out one window and the Fortress of Ollantaytambo out another - was magnificent. But the hotel itself deserves top rating on so many levels: the incredibly professional... More

We stayed one night on the way to Machu Picchu. the garden setting is beautiful but it was rainy and cool so could not really enjoy it. Our room was in a building close to restaurant. The room was good size with very basic amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful and walked us to the train station the following morning.... More

Delightful hotel with beautiful surrounds. Lovely big room decent sized bathroom. Food at the restaurant good. Staff friendly. Close to the station. Apparently quite a safe place to walk around in at night.

We spent one night at this hotel, after traveling through the Sacred Valley. We were so surprised at the gorgeous grounds, which surround the hotel rooms. It was a pleasure to sit outside, sipping a glass of wine, enjoying the wonderful weather, the incredible flowers and birds of this area, and spending time talking to the ladies selling their wares.... Stayed just the one night during a trip between Cusco and Aguascalientes and wish it been more. Hotel Pakaritampu is very handy to the massive Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo and makes an excellent base for a visit to the area. Our room was very large and clean. It had a balcony which was set perfectly for the setting sun. Staff... More

This is a beautiful hotel in a terrific location. The grounds are gorgeous, the staff is extremely helpful, the breakfast is more than adequate (note: the coffee is very strong), and the rooms are generously sized. It is a 5 minute walk to the train station, and a 10 minute walk to town. We loved it. We thought the rooms... More

This hotel was booked by my tour company. It is very close the railway station that goes to Cusco and Machu Picchu. The room are spacious and well appointed. The gardens are lovely and pleasant to sit in. Breakfast was fine. The dinner menu in the hotel restaurant was comprehensive -- I walked into town so did not try the... More

An excellent hotel, Pakaritampu is 5 minutes walk to the Ollantaytambo train station, perfect when your train to Machu Picchu leaves early in the day. Surrounded by a large area of gardens, complete with alpacas. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful with amazing mountain views. The rooms are located in several buildings around the property. Rooms are basic and... More
