Location...location....location. The Hotel Pakaritampu was one of the first lodges we stayed at outside of a major city in Peru. The setting was stunning and the location was unrivaled. The hotel is a very quick walk to the train station and center of town. The rooms were clean, cozy and comfortable; the staff went out of their way to answer... More

We came here after hiking in the Andes and suffering from altitude sickness - also hadn't had a hot shower in a few days. This place was a haven and in such beautiful setting. Great service, clean rooms with nice beds and showers - man the showers :-) I actually stayed here in 2007 but tripadvisor only offered me to... More

Guess the title says it all Our main gripe was there was no heater and winter temperatures drop to near zero at night so you really need to dress warmly and huddle under your blankets. Getting up in middle of night for loo breaks was freezing, you can imagine. Or morning showers. Bathroom would get very wet due to the... More

By far this hotel was a standout. The gardens are wonderful and fit nicely into the surrounding Ollantytambo landscape. Great location for the train station, fantastic clean cozy rooms and great restaurant.

the best hotel in ollantaytambo. views of the mountains from every room. very clean with king-size beds, warm alpaca blankets. breakfast was included and was our favorite of any of the hotels. it was like a dream. also just a 1-2 minute walk away from the train station (and from what I could tell, it was closer than any other... My husband and I spent only one night but were totally happy with the accommodations and grounds. Very neat and spotlessly clean. The restaurant was a delight and abundant flowers awesome. We walked the grounds and wondered at the peace and beauty.

I stayed there for two nights as part of a group while visiting Sacred Valley. Location is convenient between train station and town. The Hacienda style houses are very charming and cozy, especially bar and restaurant area. The garden and ground is well-kept with amazing mountain view in the back. I used the laundry service, which is reasonably priced. guinea... More

This small hotel is well place in Ollytaytambo with gardens three separate buildings containing the hotel rooms. Our room was comfortable enough with a good wide bed. The rooms were a little dark and all the doors seemed to require slamming in order to close, making it noisy. There was a quaint security box in our room, made of wood,... More

This modestly priced hotel is within walking distance to the Perurail train station in Ollantaytambo which takes you to Aquas Calientes, the city where you catch the bus to go to Machu Picchu. Incredibly convenient. The grounds are beautiful. Tiers of gardens; llamas; flowers; just lovely. The restaurant food is delicious. The rooms are quaint, not fancy, but clean. You... More

We stayed at Pakaritampu for 2 nights. The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful with a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains and Inca terraces. There are benches and other opportunities to relax in the gardens. To add to the scenery the hotel also houses 3 alpacas that are adorable. The room was lovely and clean and the staff extremely friendly.... More
