Hands down best place and value we stayed during 12 days in Peru, mostly staying in hostels. We are a family of four. Big rooms, extremely clean, beautiful, hard wood floors. Gorgeous view. WARM beds, which is very necessary. So many warm blankets many of us left some off. Easy walk to center of town, 10-15 min (not noisy). At... More

We had a mix-up in reservations and the staff made sure our bags got transferred to the other hotel and back again when we returned from our trek. The rooms are huge, the grounds are quiet and very pleasant with chairs to enjoy the sunshine. Breakfast is basic with rolls, fruit, and eggs along with fresh juice and good jam.... More

The lodge is located 200 meters away from the rail station and 5 minutes walking from the ruins and the centre. The lodge has a nice garden with pretty flowers and 2 alpacas moving around. There are also some tables and long chairs where you can have a rest and some sun (if the weather permits it). Rooms and bathroom... More

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights before Machu Picchu and 1 more night after Machu Picchu before Cuzco. It is close to the town square (5-7 minute walk or about 30 US cents per person for mototaxi) and its 3-4 minute walk from train station. This is a perfect place to stay before or after (or before-and-after)... More

We only stayed here one night on our way back from Machu Picchu, but it was fantastic. It is only a short walk from where the train drops you off. (If you get the chance stop and get the corn on the cob that is being grilled right in the market when you get off the train) The view from... More

This is a great place to stay. Very friendly staff. Decent continental breakfast. Located perfectly for catching the train in any direction. They kept our bags for us while we went to Machu Picchu. Wifi in the room. Very clean and comfortable.

I stayed here for a few nights while exploring sacred valley. This is a lovely little hotel, very friendly. Close to teh train station and also the town square. Rooms facing Wauna Pichu also face towards the monesterie which is beyond impressive to look at and explore

One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed in. This hotel is the best location - a 10 minute walk from the train station and 5 minute walk from the center of town. Perfectly located. Rooms are simple (as they should be), very clean and the staff are most accommodating. We visited Ollantaytambo the day after Machu Picchu... More

A gem of a place. Fantastic location, less than 5 mins to the train station (important if you're getting the 7am or earlier train to Machu Picchu!) And a short pleasant walk into the delightful town of Ollantaytambo (I'd definitely recommend staying here before and probably after a day trip to Machu Picchu - Cusco is too far away, Aguas... More
