Ollantaytambo is such a beautiful historic pueblo and casa de wow is the perfect place to enjoy it. I liked the inca decoration, the roof top balcony and the delicious breakfast. Steve is a welcoming receptionist and explains you voluntarily how to get around in the region. We had a room with view on the ruins, loved it.

We stayed at Casa de Wow! for our first night in country. Our hosts were very welcoming and we felt at ease. The location is an easy walk downtown or to the ruins. The best parts about Casa de Wow for our family were the bunk beds ( our 11 and 13-year old thought they were so cool!) and the... More

We stayed in Casa de Wow for two nights and really enjoyed the place. We had a room with a private bathroom; the bed was very comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water. At that moment, Winn was there and really made us feel at home. She provided a well-drawn map of Ollantaytambo listing all the useful information... More

Me and my friends stayed there for one night. The room was cozy. Before I checked out, I charged my IPhone 6 in the kitchen and i was in rush to catch the train to Machu Picchu so I forgot to take my phone. Just about a few minutes Sonia(I can't remember her name exactly) ran after me and brought... More

We stayed here with our two children and had a great time! Winn was extremely helpful to us as my son and I both suffered elevation sickness the first few days. The rooms are small but clean and my kids loved the handmade bunk beds! It was also really nice getting to know the other guests from all over the... More

Suenos and Wow are just the best. The location is great and the hospitality is wonderful. The staff are able to make great recommendations for what to do in and around town (other than Machu Picchu). Ollantaytambo is sometimes a base for Machu Picchu tourists, but don't forget to experience the distinct culture here as well. I've travelled around the... More

Casa de Wow is a very cozy hostel, located on the furthest street in Ollantaytambo, with a perfect view of the ruins. Owned by Roberto/Waow (Peruvian,) and Winn (American,) the place is well maintained, and full of amazing art, handcrafted bunk beds, and a fantastic book selection. The common space is very cozy, and the roof-top “mirador” is amazing, with... More

The owner, Win, was very welcoming and a wealth of information about day hikes and activities in the surrounding areas. The breakfast was amazing, especially with Win's homemade jams, fresh warm bread from the market, REAL coffee, and eggs. Decor in the Wow was great, but it seemed slightly overpriced given that there was only 2 shared bathrooms. Try to... More

I stayed here for 5 nights in May, 2015. I made Ollantaytambo my base, and traveled from here to Machu Picchu and the other surrounding cities. The house is about a 5 minute walk from the main square. If you have a suitcase on wheels, keep in mind that the little pedestrian streets are made of stone and it will... More

I had a room with a shared bathroom. The handmade bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and there was plenty of hot water. My bedroom had a window looking out onto Ollantaytambo ruins and sounds of the river below. It was so nice and cool at night. There is an ample kitchen you can use to cook your own... More
