We really enjoyed our 4-night stay at the Iskay hostel. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The location is terrific and quiet. The breakfast is good (pancakes, eggs, cheese, bread, fruit, juice, coffee/tea) and plentiful. Would definitely recommend this hostal.

We had a superiour room for 2 nights and a standard for 1. The superiour is very large with a double and twin bed. We had a small private area in the garden to relax and the view out the bedroom window was the the ruins. It was a very quiet, peaceful stay. The breakfast was included and was very... More

The hotel owners and their employees are great and always willing to help- we missed our first nite due to a flight delay and Christina worked with us on the price. It's a lovely and quaint place. We wished we would have had at least one more nite there.

We stayed a night at another Hotel before MP and a night at Iskay after. We got back at 9:00pm after a long day at MP. They wisked us to our rooms without any paperwork or hassel, for some deserved R&R. We had a very nice breakfast and checked out 123 in the morning. The hostel is beautiful with a... More

Our stay was for two nights. The receptionist was accommodating. He arranged a boxed breakfast for our visit to Machu Picchu the morning after we checked in. It was a quiet, peaceful hostal with lovely views of the garden and the mountains. The rooms and beds were clean and the blankets were more than enough for the cool nights. The... More

Wonderful peaceful hostal, close to the center on a quiet street with a garden and deck with views of the ruins and the sound of the river. Great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, plenty of hot water. Wish we could have stayed longer

This homey hotel gets a 5-star rating not because it's a 5-star hotel - but because it's very nice for what you pay. The rooms are very small, there's no TV, no room service, no clothes closet etc. What it does offer is a clean room, comfortable bed and hot shower with nice pressure etc. It also has something very... Very cute and quirky accommodation, sort of like little old cottages, ours had short doorways and bay windows, that opened on to lovely gardens. We booked a superior room for a one night stay (on a Sunday) and they organised a driver to pick us up from the Cusco airport and drive us two hours to Ollaytamtambo for $50 USD,... More

Stayed here for two nights and had a great time. Staff was really friendly and helpful. We booked our Machu Picchu guide through Hostal Iskay even though we were staying at a different Hostal in Aguas Calientes. Mario, or guide was wonderful, very informative and had a real love and respect for the area. Hostal Iskay also arranged a tour... More

As a solo traveler, I stayed at the single room for two nights (I was visiting Ollantaytambo and Machu Picchu). It was seriously the best hostel I have ever stayed in Peru! The room was immaculate, the hot water came out nicely, the bed was so comfortable, the internet worked brilliantly (although not as fast as in the U.S.), and... More
