A great hotel. Beautiful setting with views over to the ruins. Comfortable beds with lots of blankets. Really nice and helpful staff who went out of their way to organise our machu pichu tickets, even though we were only staying for one night. Fantastic location for getting into town and to the ruins. Cant recommend it highly enough, great value... More

I stayed at Hostal Iskay for 5 nights in March 2014. The service was amazing, the staff helpful and spoke good english. The room was tidy and clean with good facilities. The location was great, just a short walk to the plaza, which I had no problem navigating at night as the street is well lit. The gardens were beautiful... More

At the last minute I changed my reservation from a more expensive hotel to Hostel Iskay based on very good Trip Advisor comments. We had never stayed in a hostel before and I think calling this place a hostel is misleading as it was nicer than many "nice" hotels we stayed in. We could not figure out how Hostel Iskay... More

I am in love with this quaint, quiet, scenic town, and Hostal Iskay was just delightful. We had two rooms, one a matrimonial room with its own little garden sitting area, and our young adult children had a room with 2 singles with a little deck. Both rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice hot showers. The view from our... More

I found this hotel on the TA website and e-mailed the staff to make reservations. Their communication was very prompt and direct, so I decided to use them to book my train tickets and entrance tickets to Machu Picchu as well. I am so glad I did this as the MP website is notoriously difficult and unreliable. Hotel Iskay booked... More

Ollantaytambo is a great place to stay after a beautiful Sacred Valley tour before starting the Inca Trail. Rather than backtracking to Cusco and having a very early wake up call, we stayed at the Hostal Iskay which is an easy 5 minute path along a viaduct to the "town center". The room was basic but comfortable and quiet. Nice... More

Fantastic staff, lovely setting, very unique surrounding, walking distance to the town center, peaceful, cute rooms, decent breakfast, this place is as tranquil as can be... one can spot the ollantaytambo ruins from the small patios of the rooms, which are quite unique and secluded. The bathrooms could use a bit of TLC but standard for South America. Lovely owner... More

The staff at Hostal Iskay were great. Our room was good, with hot water showers. The location was near the town square and the Hostal is built right within the walls and terraces of the old ruins. It is really a neat area. We arranged our tickets and train trip to Machu Pichu through the hotel, which made it much... More

When we visited Ollantaytambo there was a strike interrupting rail service to Machu Picchu. The staff at Hostal Iskay were very kind and went out of their way to help us communicate with the rail company. As a result of their efforts we made it to MP on schedule which was critical based on our tight itinerary. The rooms were... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was clean. There was lots of hot water. It was located near the plaza and across from the Inca ruins. The breakfast was great. But best of all were the staff. Ana took time to phone around and find me a taxi and driver who was the perfect guide for a day trip... More
