I stayed here in November 2014 and the room, shower etc were of good standard, however what made the place for us was the staff. They were amazing and went out of their way to help us call a Cusco number that we had trouble with. Would def recommend!

During my travel to Peru I stayed at a few Hostels and one Bed and Breakfast. Out of all the places I stayed at, Hostal Andenes was not only the cleanest, it was also the friendliest. When you get there the entrance looked small like most hostels. Once you walk in it feels like you're walking on a tree house... More

In the center of town where congestion and dust predominate, but once you exit the darkish corridor leading back to the hotel it is a surprisingly different and bright universe. Rooms are arranged around a central garden that is carefully tended and includes herbs and edibles. There are benches and chairs outside the rooms so you can enjoy this oasis,... More

We enjoyed this place. The price was right, it was quiet, centrally located, & had hot water. The owner (Felix) was really nice, & helped us out by storing our bags for free on two occasions (we stayed there twice). My husband speaks Spanish so we had no trouble communicating. Unfortunately, we had a miscommunication the second time - Felix... More

I stayed here for 4 nights recently and had a fantastic experience. The owners Felix and Mariah are super sweet. They don't speak english but that didn't matter for me, he was very patient with my elementary spansish. Will stay again next time I'm in the amazing town of Ollantaytambo!

My boyfriend & I recently stayed here for 3 days. It was a nice place in the heart of town. Conveniently located for walking around to sites & restaurants. Felix doesn't speak English, but went out if his way to accommodate us & hold our bags while on inca trail.

We stumbled upon this place at the suggestion of our taxi driver from Cusco, and he couldn't have recommended a better place! The hotel was an unexpected find. Felix and Maria, the owners, were perfect hosts, arranging a room for us despite our late arrival. The rooms were clean and spacious, looking out onto a courtyard of blooming flowers, the... More

I stayed at Hostal Andenes with three friends in February 2014 and was extremely pleased. The room was extremely affordable and the quality was great for the price. Felix, the owner, is a great man who was very accommodating even though he spoke no English. We stayed in a 4-bed room and the bathroom was clean with hot water. Wifi... More

I stayed in Los Andenes for a couple days before going to Machu Pichu and a day on the way back. I don't need too much pampering, just a clean room, hot water and warm enough blankets. The location is very central to both the plaza, the ruins and the train station. The owner is an extremely polite and genuinely... More
