We stayed in this lovely, quiet, friendly accommodation in June 2015 for 3 nights on our way to Macchu Pichu. The room was on the ground floor in the central building. it was large, clean & comfortable. This beautiful relaxed hacienda has many sitting areas depending on your mood, both outside & inside. Quiet, private areas, TV area, sunny spots,... More

Samanapaq is a great hotel. The rooms are clean, the grounds a very very pretty, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The hotel and grounds are behind a wall that protects them from noise, etc., which is nice. There are some beautiful hammocks in the "back yard", which are lovely, and the breakfast buffet is really quite good! If you're... More

We used as a centerpoint while touring the area with our guide. We could walk easily to the centre for meals and shopping. The train to Machu Picchu was walking distance also, but we chose a tuk tuk took ride which was very cheap. Staff were helpful and the rooms were great, with a breakfast room near the office.

My son, husband and I spent 3 nights at Hotel Samanaq and we're delighted by the accommodations while we visited the Sacred Valley. Rooms were ice and unlike usual tourist fare. The owner or manager, Manela, is a remarkable potter who made all the dining ware used for breakfast, all the fixtures, vases and decorations- what talent and artistry!! Staff... More

we have stayed there for few nights. Our room was quite average. In the country side, I found rather expensive. We had hot water all the time and shower was good. The garden area was beautiful. I found the hotels communal area was better than actual room. There is also not so much lighting in the room. The breakfast was... More

We are very pleased that you have chosen us as part of your trip. We regret that the WiFi service was not adequate, but this is a problem in the town, because the company in charge does not give proper support and signal. In regard of the breakfast, it is a buffet and you can choose any drinks; coffe, milk,... More

The Samanapaq has no curb appeal an a hasty step out of the door without a look at traffic is bound to get you sidewhacked by a bus or taxi. But open the doors into the courtyard and you'll find a very inviting and comfortable place to stay if you want to stay in Ollantaytambo to explore the many ruins... More

Besides it is a beatiful site, the hotel has also a beautiful landscape surrounding it. Their breakfast is also very good. My only concern was the internet - very weak and sometimes do not work. But the hotel´s team is great and they assisted me very weel with everything that I needed. I strong recomend this hotel.

I was only here for a short overnight while heading to Machu Picchu. When I first walked in, I was blown away. I was not expecting to walk into a beautiful quaint garden-like area from coming in from a wall on the street. Very appealing decor. The office was being renovated at the time but it did not hinder anything... More

We were put here in a package tour. What a hidden gem! The people are so nice and the hotel is just a short walk away from the town square. We left early in the morning to catch the train to Agua Caliente, and when we checked out they were quite helpful with leaving our bags behind, and gave us... More

The hotel is an oasis for us when we visited Machu Picchu. We arrived at Hotel Samanapaq during the late afternoon and the staff asked about our travel agenda to Machu Picchu. We had a 4:50 a.m. check-in for our train ride to Aguas Calientes the next morning so they offered a wake up call and each of us a... More
