Our group stayed at this hotel a couple nights before and after our visit to Machu Picchu. The rooms were very nice and the staff extremely helpful and informative. They arranged sack lunches for us to take to Machu Picchu and helped answer questions about the train to Machu Picchu, etc. The buffet breakfast was bountiful and delicious each day.... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this really quaint hotel in a very special setting where it is located in one of the ancient town with original architecture for over 700 years. We were surprised and impressed by the fact that the hotel staff prepared a lovely pack breakfast for us before our trip to Macchpicchu at 5am, how delightful... More

The hotel is located close to everything in this small town. Inside this locked compound are lovely grounds with flowering plants and trees. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable, with two twin beds with plenty of blankets. The mattresses were quite firm, but that didn't bother us at all because it was blissfully coo, and quiet at night.... More

This hotel is ideally located. It's a level 4-minute walk to the town square. Rooms were sparse but comfortable. Central heat is not available but the hotel provides portable heaters in every room. Hotel grounds are immaculately landscaped with a variety of local plants. The breakfast buffet was adequate to start the day. WIFI is not available in the rooms;... More

We spent 4 nights here in late December. We loved the town of Ollantaytambo and the hotel was perfect for our group of 10 (4 adults, 6 teens). The rooms were fairly basic but comfortable and spacious and included a space heater and tv. Our rooms were in the back of the hotel, relatively quiet and with nice views of... More

My daughter and I stayed only one night after our visit to Machu Picchu, but wish we have stay there on our way to MP too. We had a few hours before taking the train to Aguas Calientes on our way to MP, and even though our booking was for the next day, the front staff was very accommodating and... More

We stayed here after a trip around sacred valley. A lovely lounge to sit in with a open fire. Good room. Great gardens within the walls of the hotel so a quite and private. So a great place to stay before you set off on your inca trail as it is a few hours near than cusco to the starting... More

Clean hotel, great staff, they have great breakfast, the only thing I didn't like is after a long day and your tired, you come home you could at least watch some TV but it seems you have to pay extra for a room with TV. After all the years of checked in different hotels TV comes standard in the room.... More

The room here was ok and the breakfast also reasonable. The actual room lacked charm and was pretty basic for the price. We definitely had better standard for cheaper in other parts of Peru and Bolivia. That said, the location is fantastic- we loved Ollanta and the ruins are like something from the Indiana Jones films! The main selling point... More

This hotel is clean and quite cute. The grounds are incredible. There are plenty of hammocks for lazing about if you have time for that. Breakfast is free. If you are trying to catch the early train to Agua Calientes they will make a box lunch for you. The hotel is within walking distance to the train station. The only... More
