We were booked in this hotel as part of our two day/one night Inca Trail trek with Llamapath. It's a clean, comfortable hotel. Warm showers with sufficient space. Comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet is simple but decent. It is served on the top (6th floor) of the hotel, which has a glass roof for a great view. It can be... More

Staff extremely friendl!. when we stayed wi fi was not working and they provide us a telephone to make international calls for free. Breakfast was excellent, fruits, cerals, breads, yoghurts and they also prepared eggs upon request with no additional cost. The overall experience was good. clean rooms, comfortable beds. big and comfortable bathroom. the hotel has a nice view... More

We stayed here after the four day Inca Trail, so anything with a mattress and a hot shower seemed like luxury. That said, this place is basically like a hostel with all private rooms. There is no climate control, and you can hear everything going on in the hotel. (Side note - the hotel staff blasts music at the breakfast... More

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night. The room is very small but clean. The hot shower is very good. The front desk receptionist went beyond her call to help me going after my travel agent for bus tickets to Machupicchu. She made quite a number of phone calls trying to track down my travel agent and ensure that... More

Not fancy but clean and well run. The Waman provides a nice place to hang your hat for Machu Picchu visits. A bit on the pricey side. We had construction going on down the little sidewalk the hotel was on that made it a little less pleasant.

The Waman Hotel is pretty average. Rooms are functional and smaller than they look online (more like an NYC size room). Generally the hotel and its rooms are more dated than the photos advertised - but clean. The staff are friendly and the wifi is good and the TV reception and channels are a highlight if you have not had... More

We stayed here as part of our Llama Path trek and were not disappointed. This hotel is very nice but not over the top. We had a matrimonial room which was very comfortable. Showers were hot, cable TV was a nice addition and breakfast was the best we've had so far. I'd have liked to have stayed another night!

Stayed one night in Aguas Callientes. Wish we had chosen a more upmarket hotel. In a side street at the top end of the tourist village. Small rooms with thin walls and poorly functioning plumbing. As we came by train we had very little luggage but storing large suitcases would be difficult. Breakfast on the top floor was OK but... More

First, be aware that Aguas Calientes is busy year round and is an enclave in the middle of the mountains. It is what it is. Having this in mind, we greatly recommend the Waman Hotel if your budget cannot handle the luxurious hotels. The hotel is conveniently located four blocks from the bus ride to Machu Picchu and the train... More
