We stayed May 2015. Will start w the good. Rooms were not small. Breakfast was good and breakfast staff was v nice. Now for the bad. Room had bad smell. The room leaked when it rained. The toilet didn't flush properly; that made the room smell even worse. Hot water runs out quickly. The front desk staff don't speak English... More

This is one of the more affordable hotels in town. I was given a nice room near the top floor- it's pretty spacious with a spectacular balcony view facing the mountains near Machu Picchu. There were also occasional playful feline visitors outside the balcony. Breakfast was included, and the cook can make fresh omelette for you. All the staff were... More

Helpful staff, breakfast included. Quiet rooms. Jacuzzi available upon request. Margartia the owner and the girls were great. They held my bag while I hiked Machu Pichu. Close to everything including Indio Feliz restaurant.

We stayed here for 2 nights after a week long trek. The grounds are quite unique and it is in a good location but Augus Calientes is pretty small so any location would be considered pretty good. There also seemed to be a good supply of hot water which was great after a week of no showers. On the negative... More

Booked here on the strength of the name and was very impressed. The view our window was to die for. Staff were great and the accommodation was more than adequate considering you are in the mountains. Very good value.

We stayed 3 nights at Gringo Bills, it was clean, comfy and very friendly. The morning breakfast wasn't super great. But our stay was pleasant and nice for a family of 5. We stayed in december 2009. The beds were comfy. Price was average. I would recommend GB.

We spent a night at Gringo Bill's in March. The hotel appeared to be under renovation and there were very few guests. The restaurant and most services were closed. We would have been fine with this, as the room was quite pleasant but there was no running water, hot or cold! We spoke to the front desk clerk, who eventually... More

Moved from our less than stellar hotel to this fabulous spot. Off season and I think we may have been the only people there, but it was great. Super easy everything and very helpful staff. Stayed way up with a great view of the city and I believe we could even see the river. Everything was clean, comfy, and easy.

To be perfectly honest, I was a little confused about the place at first. But that was MY FAULT: If you're visiting Machu Picchu, unless you want to pay a lot of money, you'll be staying in Aquas Calientes. I wasn't sure of that, but when I looked places up this appealed to me. Then, when we by Inca Rail... More

We spent the night here before traveling to Machu Pichu and were fully satisfied with the accommodations, beds were comfy, hot water was decent, friendly staff and the price was reasonable which is definitely hard to find in Agua Calientes. We had a great view from the small terrace attached to one of our rooms and liked the open air... More
